Hello! We're Alanna + Michael

We want to begin by saying how much we admire your strength and courage. We know the decision to consider adoption is not an easy one, and we can only imagine the love and thought that brought you here. It says so much about your heart and the kind of person you are. Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about us and the life we hope to share with a child. We are honored to share our story with you and hope it gives you a true sense of who we are and the kind of parents we hope to be.

About Us

Our story began the day Alanna moved into a new apartment complex in Cincinnati. Michael happened to be in the fitness center, and as she walked by, he smiled and waved. That small moment sparked an instant connection that grew quickly through our shared values, love of learning, sense of humor and strong Midwest roots. From the start, we knew we had found something special in each other. Today, we are happily settled in Green Bay, where we have built a life filled with joy, purpose and community. A big part of our life includes cheering on the Packers as season ticket holders (game days are a family tradition!), taking evening walks through our neighborhood and spending cozy nights in watching our favorite shows and movies.

Whether we are out exploring or relaxing at home, we find fulfillment in life’s simple moments, especially when shared together.

Our Home

We chose to make our home in Green Bay because it is a place that truly feels like “us.”

Michael was born and raised in Wisconsin and attended both undergrad and medical school here, so living close to his roots and family means a great deal to us. We love experiencing all four seasons, from snow in the winter to colorful leaves in the fall and long summer days. Green Bay is the perfect balance: It is a medium-sized community that offers the excitement of a bigger city, while still maintaining that small-town sense of connection. Our neighborhood is safe, quiet and friendly, with the added charm of nearby cornfields. We are a short drive from many family attractions such as the NEW Zoo and Bay Beach Amusement Park, both about fifteen minutes away. Lambeau Field and the Titletown District, where there are year-round family-friendly events, are twenty minutes from our doorstep. We relish that our home is thirty minutes from Door County, one of Wisconsin’s true gems. Green Bay truly has everything we could ask for — a welcoming community, a wonderful balance of city and nature, and a place where we can imagine raising our child surrounded by love, laughter and opportunity.
