Hello! We are Keith and Alexa

We cannot begin to understand the emotions you are juggling in your mind and heart. Please know of our thoughts, prayers, love, and support for you during this time. We believe that you will make the decision that is right for you and your child.

Family is extremely important to both of us and we enjoy sharing our traditions (and starting new ones) with our own little family. We are Wisconsin transplants to Illinois and we are diehard Packer fans. We look forward to sharing our love of Wisconsin sports and all things Harry Potter with our kids. We also enjoy attending live music, camping, biking, and exploring new breweries and wineries.

Please know that we are praying for you as you navigate your own journey. We truly appreciate you taking a look inside our life together and we hope to have an opportunity to meet you!

Our Story

We are college sweethearts who have been married for over 11 years and are parents to an adorable son, Keon. We are beyond excited to add another member to our team! After years of infertility, we took time in prayer and conversation to determine the right path for us. We look forward to growing our family through another adoption. 

We balance each other’s personalities well: Keith is outgoing and analytical while Lex is on the quieter side and is a bit more decisive. We are fiercely loyal to each other, our family, and our friends. We have been through a lot in our 15 years together. Through the highs and lows, we have remained committed to one another and we always put our marriage first.

Keon loves dancing to live music and could spend all day watching and/ or playing drums, guitar, and trombone. He will also pick up a book and cuddle in our laps to read together. Keon loves to visit the park, play soccer, and swim. He has pushed us out of our comfort zone in so many beautiful ways.

Our favorite hobbies include: reading, hiking, biking, traveling, listening to music, enjoying family pizza nights, and cheering for the Packers!

Home sweet home!

We live in a northwest suburb of Chicago in a two-story home. Our neighborhood is diverse with lots of kids and three parks within walking distance. We live close to the elementary school and enjoy biking to the library. We walk with Keon and Leinie (our 12-year-old Poodle-Schnauzer mix) through the neighborhood and the nature trails nearby. We enjoy reading by the fireplace in the winter and on our patio in the summer. On the weekends, you can find us checking out local live music, going for walks to the park, or simply visiting with friends or family. We also love being near the train station so we can visit Chicago’s theaters, restaurants, festivals, and museums.
