Hi there! We are Alicia & Alan!

We are truly honored and humbled that you are considering us to be your child's adoptive parents.

Thank you for taking the time to read about us. Not only do we want you to know how grateful we are that you are taking the time to learn more about us, but also that we understand that this decision you are making is a truly brave and selfless one. Our hope is that, through this information, you will see how much love and joy we have to share with your child.

We believe that adoption is a true blessing and the way that God intends for us to grow our family. Alicia had a very difficult pregnancy and experience at birth, so we truly believe it's a miracle that our daughter is even here today. With an infertility diagnosis paired with previous pregnancy complications, we know we are being called to adopt and our hearts are open completely to our adoption journey. Being parents is the greatest gift that we've ever been given and we can't wait to do it again.

If you decide that adoption is the best choice for you and your baby, we hope that our fun, loving, adventurous lifestyle is one that you can see your baby being raised in.

Please know that whatever you decide, we hope and pray that you have the strength, courage and support you need throughout this journey and that you find peace and comfort in your decision.

With love, Alan & Alicia

Our Story

We owe it all to Match.com and EHarmony! We had originally started a conversation on Match.com, but both ended up meeting someone before we had a chance to connect. About two years later, we were both back on the dating sites again at the exact same time. We reconnected on Match.com about the same time that we both received messages from EHarmony saying that we’d be a good fit for each other. It’s amazing how much that technology got it right! After dating for over a year, Alan proposed to Alicia and we were married in 2011. We are so blessed that we found each other. Our relationship is based in trust, love and friendship. We are each other’s “person,” and we can’t imagine doing life without each other.

Our daughter Abby is 4 years old. She is a beautiful, caring, creative ball of energy. She’s got a great mix of Alan’s curiosity and Alicia’s creativity. It’s exciting to see her growing and changing every day, but at her core, she’s still always the same - she loves our dog Roxy, her grandparents, her stuffed animal “Kitty” and Disney princesses. She’s fiercely independent but also very affectionate. She’s crazy smart and his an innate drive to create things, whether that’s drawing, painting, baking or building with her Legos.

Home sweet home!

We live in a wonderful, diverse neighborhood community full of friendly families with young children. Our neighborhood is located on a golf course and most kids walk or ride their bikes to school, stopping by the ponds to go fishing or feeding the ducks and turtles on the way home. Our home is located within walking distance to our elementary school, two playgrounds, ponds and a community pool. The middle school and high school are also right down the street in our top-rated school district. Our house has a large, tree-filled backyard. We love spending time out there whether it’s relaxing in the hammock, grilling or hosting outdoor movie nights for our friends, family and neighbors.

We’ve been abundantly blessed with our daughter, family and friends and you should know that your child will be showered with joy, love and laughter from these many blessing in our lives. They are so excited and supportive about our decision to grow our family through adoption.

Thank you!

We have many goals as parents, most importantly always being present for our children, spending quality time with them and teaching them morals and values while always providing safety and security.

Our promise to you is that your child will be given the best life possible and loved beyond measure. It doesn't matter to us whether our children are biological or adopted, what matters to us is that they know we love them with all of our hearts. We will show our children every day how much they are loved and cared for. We will teach them the important values of kindness, compassion, honesty and love, and will encourage them to pursue their dreams. And lastly, we promise to raise our future child knowing how much he or she is loved by you.

We feel so blessed with what we've been given, but look forward to the day we can meet our future child, making our dreams come true and our family even better.
