Hi there! We are Allison & Shawn!

We may not know you at this moment, but we want you to understand the respect and honor we have for you.

Thank you for taking a moment to see into our world and learn a little about us. Our adoption journey started with a lot of prayer, perseverance, and the unyielding desire to be parents. We understand this decision takes a huge amount of strength and love. If you decide to choose us, we want you to know that your child will be loved, supported, and prayed for everyday. We will tell your story from a place of love and admiration.

Our Story

We met in college while taking the same psychology class. Shawn asked for a pencil, although he had a whole pack of them in his book-bag. This small step led to our first date at McAllister's Deli where we talked about our lives, hopes, dreams, and our plans for the future. That night was the start of our forever. After a year and a half of dating, Shawn proposed. We were married a year and a half later in May of 2018 at the church we still attend today. Together we love to stay active, spend time with friends and family, and to go on trips - specifically those that involve the beach. We also appreciate the small moments like a slow morning filled with coffee, Sunday afternoon naps while golf is on the TV, and playing with our dog, Finn. We are involved in our church and both serve. Shawn serves on the media team while I serve in the children's ministry and women's group.

We have always pictured a life with kids and our hearts are ready to give our unconditional love to a child.

Home and Family

We live in a small town on 21 acres with our family.

Our home is a two story house with 3 bedrooms sitting on 7 acres, with a spacious yard. We can already see all the cousins getting together to play and make memories. Our favorite place in our home is our large family room because it is set up for family time and our weekly Sunday dinners! Our family enjoys traditions like our annual beach trips, cookie baking for the holidays, and celebrating everything together - even little things like NFL season kick off. Together is our favorite place to be.

Things That Make Us Happy

• Spending time together as a family.

• Trying out new restaurants.

• A good cup of coffee.

• Game nights with friends, although we are competitive :)

• Taking our dog, Finn, for a walk around our property.

• A slow Sunday afternoon.

Fun Facts

• Shawn works as a registered nurse.

• Allison loves to cook and always presents her food with "today I have prepared for you.." just like their favorite show, Chopped.

• Shawn and Allison are both active and enjoy playing sports such as softball, golf, basketball, and soccer.

• Shawn won a power lifting competition (USAPL).
