Hi there, we are David & Amy!

First and foremost, we hope you know how deeply seen and valued you are. You are carrying not only your child, but also the emotional and spiritual weight of decisions that are vulnerable, complex, and so brave.

As you read these words, we hope it feels like we're sitting across the kitchen table from you, giving you a glimpse into our hearts and lives. We pray you feel a sense of peace and comfort over your heart, and assurance that you're not alone in your courageous choices.

About Us

We have been married for three and a half years, and our story began with a prayer.

In January 2022, Amy asked God if marriage was in her future and felt Him respond with one word: "April". Around the same time, David decided to give dating apps one more try, and that April, Amy came across his profile on Hinge, sent a “like," and we began talking. After a couple weeks of long messages, we met for coffee, and the connection we had online felt just as natural in person.

By May we were officially a couple, in September we said “I love you, and in December David proposed at the zoo with an owl. The following April—exactly one year after we first connected—we were married, making Amy's prayer and the word "April" especially meaningful to us.

Faith is at the center of our marriage and shapes how we love one another, navigate challenges, serve our community, and enjoy life together. We also share a love of travel, experiencing new foods and cultures, reading, going on walks, hosting dinners and parties at our home and spending quality time with friends. Oh and laughter, lots and lots of laughter!

Home and Family

Our home is a place where we love to gather, celebrate, and make memories with the people we love.

The kitchen table is the heart of our home, while our backyard—with its firepit, swing, garden, and fruit trees—is a favorite place for friends and family to linger.

We love celebrating birthdays, holidays, and the everyday moments in between, with traditions like decorating the kitchen for birthdays, Christmas Eve church, hot chocolate and Christmas lights, and slow holiday mornings spent cooking and playing games together. One of our favorite traditions is our New Year's Coffee House, when we invite friends over for coffee and treats around the backyard fire.

Our extended family is spread across the country, with a large part of our family living nearby, and we make it a priority to stay connected through visits, celebrations, and phone calls. Our church community has also become an extension of our family, surrounding us with people who love, encourage, and walk alongside us. As we grow our family, we look forward to creating new traditions and raising a child surrounded by faith, joy, adventure, and a village of people who will love them deeply.

Fun facts!

• Amy and David have traveled to 14 countries together!

• Amy has mastered the art of amazing sourdough bread with as little effort as possible

• David got runner up in a national cheese competition for the brand Whisps because of his love for cheese.

• We have a tradition of goofy family Christmas photos. One year we sent our card to the royal family in England and they sent one back!
