Hello! We are Ashley and Taylor

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about us.

We cannot begin to imagine the emotions and strength it has taken to consider adoption, but we want to honor the courage behind your journey. We have been praying for you, asking the Lord to surround you with peace, comfort, wisdom, and protection throughout your pregnancy and decision-making process.

We have long prayed and deeply desired to grow our family. After years of walking through infertility and waiting, we come to adoption with grateful and hopeful hearts, believing this is part of how our family is meant to grow.

Even though we have not met you, we already hold deep respect and care for you. We admire the love you have for your child and the thoughtful decision you are making to consider their future. We know this is not an easy path, and we honor the weight and selflessness it carries.

We would be humbled and overjoyed if you chose us to raise your child. We promise to provide a home filled with safety, stability, laughter, and unconditional love. We will support them in discovering who they are, encourage their dreams, and walk with them through every stage of life with patience, grace, and faith.

Our Story

After trusting Jesus, I (Ashley) began attending a new church and was eager to grow in my faith and know the Lord more deeply.

During worship one day, I noticed Taylor wholeheartedly praising Jesus; I had never seen this before. I remember thinking, “Lord, I want a husband who loves you like that.” We continued to cross paths through church events and friends, and over time, we built a strong friendship before beginning a relationship. Taylor pursued me intentionally and honorably. While hiking or spending time together, our conversations were filled with joy, laughter, honesty, and dreams of the future. After nine months, Taylor proposed in a very creative way, and with excitement we began the next chapter of our lives together.

Home sweet home!

Our home is a welcoming, open layout that allows for easy interaction between multiple spaces, including four bedrooms and two family rooms in a single-family split-level style house.

We were fortunate to purchase this house from family, giving us a home in an established, charming neighborhood with streets lined with trees, walking trails, and flowers. The community association organizes family events throughout the year, and we have a nearby elementary school with tennis courts and a park within walking distance. There is a thriving, active community watch program, which keeps our neighborhood safe.

We love to garden at our urban farm where we have apples, peaches, plums, pears, and cherry trees, along with green beans, cucumbers, squash, tomatoes, sunflowers, peppers, strawberries, grapes, berries, and so much more. Through our farming, we love sharing the abundance of harvest with our family, friends, and neighbors. We love giving tours to people walking by who are curious and our friends who home school their kids as an activity.

We have family within 20 minutes of us who we often see throughout the week, another family an hour and a half away that we see for special occasions, and the rest of our family is long-distance. For the family that is distant, we see them once to twice a year. We love our church; it’s a wonderful community that gives support and love. They are from many cultures and backgrounds, along with a thriving children’s ministry.

Family Traditions

• One of our favorite holidays is the 4th of July. We love getting dressed up, swing dancing in the parade with our dance group, talking with people about freedom, spending time with family, and watching fireworks.

• We love to travel! Each year we try to go on a trip, domestic or international. We look forward to these adventures together as we experience culture, food, history, and beautiful scenery. We look forward to having these unforgettable adventures as a family.

Things that make us happy

• We enjoy swing dancing and performing to live music at local events regularly. Ashley likes mac & cheese and cookie dough while Taylor likes lobster and banana splits. We both enjoy being outside, playing board games or puzzles, and being creative. Ashley is good at dreaming up ideas, while Taylor is skilled at bringing those ideas to life. Most recently, we added a children’s reading nook under our stairs!

In Closing

We know you have many families to consider, and in that process, know that we are praying for you.

Heavenly Father, in this moment, when her heart may feel heavy with questions and grief, surround her with Your peace that goes beyond understanding. Hold her close to You when the emotions feel too large to carry alone. Remind her that she is not forgotten, not alone, and not unseen.

Give her wisdom for every decision she must make, and clarity when the path feels uncertain. Strengthen her with courage to walk through each step, even when it is painful. Comfort her in every decision to entrust her child into another family’s care. May she feel peace in knowing that love does not end with separation, and that her child’s life is held in Your faithful hands. Amen.
