Hello There! We are Ryan & Blayne!

Thank you for taking the time to take a glimpse into our lives and who we are.

We know that this is a monumental decision and we hope to be able to support you through this journey and show you the love that we have to share with your child. No matter the circumstances bringing you to this decision, please know that we have so much appreciation for the chance to be in your life and to be able to share our life and love with your child. We hope that you are able to learn more about us, our family, friends, and experiences. We have a truly incredible family that is so excited to join us and welcome a new member to our family. Our Story

Fate played matchmaker back in 2014 where we met through mutual friends. We had an easy, instant connection and have been inseparable since. This November, we will have been together for ten years. It's been an incredible experience and our hearts are so full.

Family time is our treasure - we spend many days & nights every week with our family. Going out to eat togehter is one of our favorite things to do together so that we can enjoy the presence of loved ones and always be at eachothers sides. 

We have two golden retrievers named Fitz & Douglas. Fitz is our giant lap dog, who is perfectly content lounging around and sunbathing all day. Douglas on the other hand is a bundle of energy and is always on a quest for the next great adventure, usually found on a walk.

Our hearts beat for travel and all that encompasses - different places, people, cultures, food and experiences. We look for any opportunity to plan a new adventure somewhere across the globe.

Time together is our greatest possesion, and we cherish every moment we have together.

Home and Family

Welcome to our home! It's a spacious and inviting place, perfect for family to grow and friends to gather. We love hosting and have created a space thats great for big meals, fun games, or just relaxing together. Our neighborhood is part of a country club community, offering lots of beautiful outdoor areas to explore.

We're convenienetly located near some fantastic restaurants, ocean front parks, an amazing aquarium, and some inspiring art museums.

Our immediate family isn't large, which means we can really focus on quality time and creating meaningful experiences. Whether we're off on a travel adventure, enjoying a quite night in with movies and conversation, or out on the town for dinner, shopping, or a move, we cherish every moment.

That's a little glimpse into our life. We're enjoying the journey and all of the simple joys along the way, always excited for what's next. 

Our Favorite Things

• We love finding a new series to get into, and usually end up binge watching episodes, and get sad when they come to an end too soon.

• On our travels we love doing random tours, experiences, cooking classes, etc. Ryan's favorite experience was riding on the back of a motorbike through the Cambodian countryside, whereas Blayne's was getting too close to the penguins in Antartica when the guides weren't looking. 

• We love telling each other "do you want to go on a walk" knowing that our dogs will perk up and get SO excited to wait for their invite to tag along.

• We both have a passion for Architecture & Design and are always looking for inspiration, new materials, and creative concepts to experience.

• Sunday is such a sacred day for us. We love to get coffee in the morning, eat a big brunch meal, spend the afternoons with the dogs and our families and really enjoying the peace and quite the day brings. We start the day early and end the day late, to fully take it in.

• We get to work together and office right next to each other. Sometimes getting to work on projects together and always prioritize enjoying each other’s company for lunch whether that be at a real lunch time, or just whenever we can catch a break together! 

Our Family Values

• Health & Wellness, we have really prioritized our health to ensure that we have long, full, healthy lives together. We work out together most days and have prioritized depending our understanding of food and eating to fuel ourselves rather than overindulging.

• Quality Time Together, we know that life gets so busy and time flies by, so we have worked to truly be present in the time we have together and for each other and our families. Memories and experiences in this beautiful life is the greatest thing we can create together.

• Tradition, Holidays and Family events are so special and we want to share the traditions our families have had for years together. Thanksgiving, Christmas, Birthdays, etc. are always extra special events and our families make it a point to create unique experiences each year that will hold special places in each of our hearts.

We promise to teach this child love, compassion, empathy and to create an environment for them to thrive and become anything and everything they want to be. We are so grateful to have both had parents and grandparents that loved us and supported us in all that we do. Because of that, we have so much love to give. This is what we need and want most in our life and in our journey together, and we are so grateful for this opportunity. We know how immense of a decision this will be and we are excited to hopefully welcome this child home with open arms and a wonderful support system that will always stand by their side.
