Hey! We’re Brandee & Justin

Before we start talking about us, let’s talk about you. This is huge! While we know this isn’t a decision you ever thought you’d have to consider, your selflessness, grace and love are beyond inspiring. We hope that if adoption is the route you take, that whomever you choose to parent this child reminds them always of the deep love you have.

We knew, always, that adoption was how we would grow our family. It has always been our plan A. Brandee grew up as the only non-adopted child in her family, and as a kid thought most families adopted! When she told Justin this early on, he was immediately on board and excited. Now feels like the perfect time for us to become parents.  

Our Story

We met online - how's that for romantic?! Justin won Brandee over with an extremely kind, flattering message, and the rest is history. When we met, Brandee had just opened a clothing boutique, was DJing for a local radio station, and was living in the arts district with her pup, Fenway. Justin was working for the local rescue mission which supports the unhoused population. He was living with his best friend and his brother in a bachelor pad, and playing music and soccer.

We've come a long way since then. We got married in 2018 with our big families and amazing friends. It was a huge dance party with several DJs, some food trucks, and a lot of love. We've traveled the world, grown in our careers, and experienced loss, love, and everything in between. 

These days we spend our time being active, involved in our friends’ and their kids’ lives, enjoying Denver (and every restaurant in it), working, and dreaming about what’s next!

Our Home and Family

We live in a four-story brownstone townhouse in our favorite city in Colorado.

We’re just a block away from one of the largest parks in the city, walking distance to coffee shops, less than 10 minutes to downtown, and an hour from the mountains. We share our home with our sweet and goofy 14-year-old Boston Terrier, Fenway. He's the best!

We have an amazing community of life long friends, and a ton of family, both local and spread across the country. 

When Brandee’s family gets together, either in town or in the mountains at a cabin, there’s always games, lots of food, and jokes. When Justin’s family is together, it’s all sports!

We make sure to see family for holidays. Christmas Eve we spend the two of us, (we get dressed up and go to our favorite Asian restaurant!) but we always host Christmas dinner with Brandee's mom, step-dad, and step-brothers at our house.  Brandee makes a fancy meal, we watch Christmas movies, and open gifts. We host a big party in December for all of our friends, and then Justin’s parents come out for New Years Eve. It’s such a fun week!

Holidays aren’t the only time we get together - we’re always traveling to see Justin’s extended family. They’re all over the country, but get together yearly for weddings and reunions. There are 25 kiddos in his family, so it's fun to watch them make memories together!

In Closing

What we look forward to most as parents is fostering a sense of self respect, individuality, and love for others. We have a lot of room in our lives for a kiddo and can't wait to welcome a little human into our world!
