Hi! We are Adam and Carli!

We would like to start by saying thank you so much for taking the time to get to know us and considering our little family for your child. We hope by reading this you can see all the love we have for each other, and most importantly the love we can give you and your child. We have the utmost admiration for you. We cannot begin to pretend to understand how you feel, but we want you to know we have been praying over you and your child, and that you would feel so much peace from God during this time.

Our hearts are so ready to welcome you and your baby into our family. If you choose us, we want you to know they will always be provided with everything they need to accomplish any dream, that their emotions and feelings will be met with warmth and empathy, and that they will have a community of people around them at all times, lifting them up in every season. There will never be a day where your child does not know how loved they are, not by just one, but by two families.

We promise to honor you in every area of their lives so that they know how much you love and care for them.

Our Story

Our love story started when we were 15 and 17 years old!

We are high school sweat hearts and have been madly in love for a little over 10 years now! We had a mutual friend who introduced us and it took a little bit, but once we started dating we knew we had something special. We truly have lived so much life together and gone through lows and highs, but we have been each others best friend through it all!

We have prayed for a family and have been in our waiting season of infertility for about 3 years now. God has really opened our hearts and we know building a family through adoption is the call he has on our lives. We feel so honored to answer this call, and we know what a privilege it is to be chosen by you for your child. Our brother-in-law was adopted by his step-dad, and someone who I (Carli) now consider a brother came to live with my family while he was in high school. We think seeing the beautiful family relationships this has created has really allowed us to continue to move forward with an open heart for this calling.

We love to spend time outdoors with our Golden Retriever, Jessi, be with our friends, family, nieces and nephew, and our goddaughter in our free time. Something that's also really important to us is traveling and experiencing other cultures, and we can't wait to incorporate our children into that one day.

Home and Family

We were both born and raised in Texas in small towns. Eventually Adam moved to the town where I (Carli) was born and raised and we are so grateful to have bought a home just 4 minutes away from Carli's mom. We live in the sweetest little neighborhood surrounded by so many families with kids and pets! We are really closely located to our downtown area, shops, stores, and the local parks and schools.

Most of Carli's family lives in Brenham, and her brother comes to visit about every other month or so. Adam's family is only about a 30 minute drive away as well which makes it so convenient for us to spend so much time with them. Our best friends and their daughter, who is our goddaughter, live 2 minutes away in a neighborhood nearby so we see them multiple times a week for dinner or family walks.

Our home is a 4 bedroom, open-concept, 1980's ranch style home that has been completely renovated and we feel so blessed that this is the first home we purchased together. We have always loved hosting and having friends and family over, and we also lead a small group through our church in our home every week. We have always wanted to be the people that everyone wants to come over to, where they feel so loved and comfortable in our home, and we feel so lucky to fill our space with so much laughter and so many memories. We have the perfect backyard and patio and on most weekends you can find us outside with the dog doing yard work and grilling steaks!

We have always dreamt of filling this home with kids, and we would feel so honored to be chosen by you to build our family in the home we love so much.

Things that we love...

Adam:

• Raising cattle with his Dad

• Being outdoors hunting and fishing

• Reading his bible and being with his church family

• Going on vacation and making new memories

Carli:

• Reading a good book

• Finding a new antique shop

• Trying new coffee shops

• Traveling with my husband or friends and family

Our family strives to be...

• A family rooted in quality and intentional time together. We are so big on this and can't wait to incorporate a child into this. Whether it’s a day date out to lunch and browsing the aisles of Costco, cooking dinner together at home, or a quick weekend getaway, these moments are so important for us as a family to grow and bond together.

• A family grounded in faith. Our faith is the number one thing we value most. We feel so blessed to be surrounded by an amazing church family who have walked with us through so many seasons of life. Knowing Jesus really keeps us grounded, and we want to raise a child with these same beliefs so that they can experience the love God has for them.

• We value a full life, traveling and creating memories. Some of our best memories growing up are family vacations. So many of our family members have kids and we love traveling with all of them and we can't wait to incorporate a child into this.
