Our Story

Our marriage is built on a foundation of friendship, faith, and deep respect for one another.

We first met in college. What began as a simple friendship quickly grew into something more, and a few months later, after walking through the unexpected experience of a car accident with some friends, we found ourselves leaning on each other in a new way. The care, protection, and love that started then has only grown deeper through the years. We’ve walked through both joy and challenges, always choosing to lean on our faith and commitment to one another. Laughter, honest communication, and shared experiences keep our relationship strong, while our differences balance us out and make us a better team. We delight in spending time together—whether it’s in the everyday routines, traveling to new places, or simply enjoying time with family and friends. We also love experiencing new cuisines, playing board games, and thrifting new treasures. As we look ahead, our hearts are full of anticipation for what’s to come. We know our home is filled with love, and we are eager to share the joy of our life together with children.

Home and Family

Our home is a beautiful, historic house located in a safe, established neighborhood within walking distance to our quaint and diverse downtown, and several parks. Full of charm, we bought this home with the dream of growing our family here, and we can’t wait to fill it with the laughter of children.

All our family is either in-town or within a 2-hour drive, which we are really thankful for.

We have a 4 year old Labradoodle named Juniper. She is a joy to be around and very cuddle-worthy as she looks like a living teddy bear. Juniper is Chelsea's constant companion, going to work each day, welcoming everyone with a tail wag. Children are her favorite visitors, and she greets them with a calm and gentle spirit.

Family Values:

• Time Together: Quality time as a family is a core value, this includes leaving work at the office, being present when we're home, and cooking and eating meals together.

• Generosity: We believe our God to be generous, so in turn, we have a desire to be generous in all aspects of lives, including giving of our time, our talents, as well as our money, to those in need.

• Honesty and Forgiveness: We value honesty in our family. When we mess up, we admit to it and apologize. When someone wrongs us, we forgive. We will teach our children to tell us the truth, no matter what, and that we cannot love them any more or less based on what they do or have done.

• Fun: Live is a gift, and it is meant to be enjoyed. Whether it's playing silly games, dance parties in the house, laughing at funny shows, or jumping in the lake. We have fun.

• Service: We ask ourselves: "How can we help?" before we ask ourselves "What's in it for me?"
