Hello! We are Talan and Chelsea

Thank you so much for taking the time to look through our profile. Our hope is that this gives you a true picture of who we are and what everyday life looks like for us. You'll see the things that matter most in our world, including family, our three dogs, time outdoors, and the supportive church and friend community we love. For years, we have prayed for a baby, and we feel blessed to be on this path of welcoming a child through adoption. Thank you for considering adoption for your baby. We admire your strength and the love it takes to explore such a courageous decision. Please know that we are committed to walking alongside you in ways that feel right for you.

About Us

We first met through mutual friends at church and quickly realized how much we shared the same values and hopes for the future.

It didn't take long for us to know we wanted to spend our lives together. We were married in June 2021 and since then, we've worked hard to make our marriage a priority. We believe a strong, healthy, joy-filled relationship is the best foundation we can give a child.

Talan balances a busy aerospace career and volunteer work as a firefighter and EMT along with making family his top priority. He is naturally funny and a steady, patient person. He is affectionate and cares deeply for those around him. Chelsea works from home in the insurance industry while still making every day feel special and putting family first. She is thoughtful, patient and has a natural ability to make others feel cared for.

Home and Family

We live in a newly built single-story home in a family friendly suburb of Phoenix, AZ.

Our community is known as one of the safest in the state and has numerous parks, playgrounds, green spaces, basketball and volleyball courts, fishing ponds, pools, splash pads and hiking trails. Our church is located just 10 minutes away, with a wonderful Sunday school, youth ministry, preschool and K-6 private school. Talan landscaped our backyard himself, and it's filled with numerous trees, a shaded gazebo, and a grassy area perfect to play. We love to spend our time out there relaxing with our dogs, grilling and hosting family and friends. We have three dogs, Oreo, Murphy and Kya. They adore children and are excited to have a human sibling to play with!

We have been blessed with a large, close knit extended family and you should know your child would be showered with love. They are all supportive and excited about our decision to grow our family through adoption.

Favorite Family Traditions

• Every year we attend our town's holiday parade and tree lighting. It's one of our favorite events of the year!

• We also love attending a Christmas event put on by a local farm with our best friends. They have an illumination train ride, hay ride to feed reindeer, tons of food, pictures with Santa, rides and games. It's always a highlight of the holiday season.

Favorite Things

• Talan's favorite things: Camping and being outdoors, saltwater aquariums, hands-on projects, watching movies, cooking on the grill, relaxing with the dogs, spending time with family and friends, decorating for Christmas.

• Chelsea's favorite things: Trying new recipes, baking sourdough, reading a good book, the holiday season, hiking, going to church, time with friends and family, road trips.
