Chris and Manny
Hello! We're Manny, Chris and Isa!
Although we have not met yet, we already feel a deep sense of gratitude for you and the incredible strength you carry in this season.
We believe that, in the way life unfolds with such purposeful timing, your life, your baby’s life, and ours have been brought into the same story for a reason. If chosen, we will eagerly await the moment we can meet you, honor your journey, and embrace life alongside you with open hearts.
We promise to steward wisely the gift of relationship and trust that may be extended to us. We promise to love wholly, selflessly, and with compassion that is steady and unwavering. What we hope for most is the chance to give you and your baby the kind of genuine love and support that fill our home.
Please know that we admire you deeply and are inspired by your love, your strength, and your courage as a mother. Your story matters, your heart matters, and we hold both with humility, and hope.
Our Story
Our story began in Dallas back in 2011, and after a year of long distance, Manny packed up and moved to Hawaii in 2013 so we could finally start our lives in the same place. We were married in 2015, and celebrating our 10-year anniversary this year reminded us just how grateful we are for each other and the journey we’ve been on. In 2017, we learned we wouldn’t be able to have children naturally, and while that news was painful, it opened our hearts in ways we never expected. In 2019, with so much love to give, we welcomed a sweet 6-year-old girl through foster care, and even though she was reunited with her family after five months, she left a lasting imprint on our hearts.
In 2020, we stepped into IVF with so much hope, but in December we faced the heartbreak of losing our baby, a moment that brought us to our knees but also pulled us closer together. As we healed, we realized that adoption had always been quietly written into our story, and we began to feel a deep peace about following that path. In 2021, we began the adoption process, and in 2022 our daughter was born—gift who brings joy and light into every corner of our home. We have an open adoption and hold her birth mother in the highest respect, keeping a loving connection that feels natural and right for our family. Through adoption, we’ve discovered a new kind of love that shapes everything we do—our hearts have grown, our perspective has widened, and our lives feel more complete than ever. Here in Hawaii, we say “ʻOhana,” and Isa truly has a big, loving extended family from Hawaii to Texas.
Now that she’s three, she’s ready to be a big sister, and our hearts are ready too, bringing us to this joyful moment of hoping to grow our family again.
Our Home and Family
Our home is full of love, laughter, and connection, with God at the center of everything we do.
We treasure family time—slow mornings, cooking breakfast together, laughing around the table, doing activities, and simply being together. We love being outdoors, whether it’s afternoon walks, trips to the park with Isa, hikes, or early morning and late afternoon swims at the beach. Creativity is a big part of our life too—we paint, cook, dance, and find ways to be silly and playful together. Every evening, dinner together around the table gives us time to share stories, laughter, and the simple joy of connection. We also cherish time with extended family, with BBQs, water play, and afternoons filled with fun and love that Isa will carry in her heart forever. By our kitchen hangs a sign that perfectly sums up who we are: “In our home, we do second chances, we say our prayers, we do I’m sorry, we play hard, we do loud really well, we give hugs, we do love, we are family!” Our days are full of joy, playful moments, and meaningful conversations, and through our love for Christ and each other, our hearts are renewed daily. Our home is a place where every child will feel safe, valued, and cherished. Every hug, every story, and every moment together reflects the care, respect, and love that guide our family.
Favorite Family Traditions
Trips to New Zealand: Every five years, we return to New Zealand—a place we fell in love with during our 2015 honeymoon. We went back in 2020 to keep the tradition alive, and in 2025 we brought Isa for a month-long stay to soak in the beauty, culture, and adventure together.
Birthday Celebrations: Birthdays are a big deal in our home! Living close to Chris’ family and our tight-knit community means every birthday is filled with love, laughter, good food, and making the birthday person feel truly celebrated.
Holiday Gatherings: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s are always spent surrounded by Chris’ family and extended relatives—full of food, games and cherished moments.
Annual Texas Visits: Each year, we travel to Texas not only to nurture Isa’s relationship with her birth mother and first family, but also to spend time with Manny’s family who live there. These trips have become a treasured tradition—filled with love, connection, and memories that help Isa build strong relationships with the people who mean so much to us.

“Before I shaped you in the womb, I knew all about you. Before you saw the light of day, I had holy plans for you”
“Not flesh of my flesh, nor bone of my bone, but still miraculously my own. Never forget for a single minute, you did not grow under my heart, but in it”
Thank You!
We are in awe of your courage and the love it takes to consider placing the child you’ve carried for nine months into another family.
