Christina and Jone
Hello! We are Jone and Christina and these are our kids Dublin, Zion and JJ
Friend, we see you. Not just as someone facing a decision, but as a whole person—navigating something deeply personal, emotional, and brave. You are carrying so much, and yet here you are, still exploring what’s best for your child. That takes a strength we deeply respect.
We don’t know your story, but we believe it matters. And we believe you deserve the space to be fully yourself—without pressure, without expectation, without judgment. We’ve written this profile to share our hearts, our family, and the kind of life we hope to offer a child. But this page? This one is just for you. A moment to say: you are not invisible in this. Your voice, your feelings, your hopes—they belong here, too.
Our Love Story
(In Christina’s Words)
In June of 2018, I went on a group trip to Fiji with the goal of checking off a bucket-list destination. I was expecting sunsets and adventure, not the love of my life. But there he was. On the last night of our trip, I noticed Jone sitting quietly in the back, playing music with his band. He hadn't said a word, but something about his calm presence, kind eyes, and quiet strength in the way he held space drew me in. I felt an overwhelming sense of peace, like I somehow already knew: this man was it. Turns out, he had noticed me too. When we finally did speak, it felt like the words had just been waiting. As Taylor Swift sings, we were both enchanted to meet each other. After weeks of video calls and long conversations, I flew back to Fiji to see if the connection was real. The moment I saw him again, I knew it was. We spent that weekend talking, laughing, and realizing this was more than a spark—it was real love. Fast forward to Thanksgiving in Fiji: we were surrounded by his family after a night of laughter and kava, and Jone started singing “I Think I Want to Marry You.” Halfway through the song, he dropped to one knee and proposed. We were married a few months later.
Our Home and Family
Our home is a warm, light-filled space with four bedrooms, an open layout, and a private backyard made for play and quiet moments together.
It’s where music plays daily, dance parties happen in the kitchen, and meals are shared picnic-style under the sun. With cozy corners, the scent of lavender in the air, and laughter echoing through the halls, it’s a place full of love, joy, and belonging— a home where everyone feels welcome the moment they walk in. It’s also a space where our kids feel safe to be fully themselves— curious, creative, and deeply loved.
Our Favorite Things
We believe that the world is our classroom and that exposing our kids to different languages, traditions, and ways of life helps them grow into compassionate, openminded people. When we travel, we don’t just visit places—we seek to understand them. Whether we’re feeding elephants in Thailand, dancing with parakeets in Australia, or sharing meals with family in Fiji, we embrace each culture with open hearts and curiosity. Our children have already visited many U.S. states, and in 2024, we took an extended time off to travel the world as a family.
Things That Make Us Happy
Going “California camper camping”—some of our best memories are made around the campfire while roasting marshmallows under the stars.
Having dance parties in the living room—music is almost always playing in our home, and spontaneous dance sessions happen almost daily!
Reading books before bed—winding down with stories is a sacred part of our evenings, full of snuggles and imagination.
Playing games and puzzles—we love doing things that bring us together, challenge our minds, and make us laugh.
Cooking and baking together—we love including everyone when making a meal.
“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”
In Closing
Thank you again for taking the time to meet us.
We've filled this profile with pieces of our life, but as you read these words, our hope is that the focus shifts back to you. Not to convince or define you, but simply to say: we honor you. We’re holding space for your heart, your journey, and whatever you need. No matter what path you choose, you deserve compassion, clarity, and support. If it ever feels right to explore a path with us, we’ll be here—ready to listen, to walk gently, and to honor whatever you choose to share. However this unfolds, you will always be part of the love that surrounds this child, your presence never forgotten. We are here with open hearts, holding this moment with deep respect and care.
