Eleni and Joe

Hi! We are Eleni and Joe.

Thank you for your example of selfless love!

Please accept our sincere gratitude for taking the time to get to know us, along with our prayers for your comfort and continued courage throughout this process and in your decision.

We honor the extraordinary love and dedication that motherhood represents, and are fortunate to be influenced by strong maternal figures. Yet, the most profound example of love and strength we hold dear is a woman neither of us have ever met: the birth mother of Joe’s sister, Maria. Maria was adopted from Latin America at the age of twelve. When Maria’s mother was no longer able to protect her, she took her to an orphanage shortly after she turned nine. We are forever thankful for the love and fortitude that Maria’s mother exhibited, making a difficult decision for her daughter’s well-being.

We believe that the choice to choose adoption is one of the most challenging and courageous decisions that a parent can make. We hope that you feel comforted knowing that we are committed to honoring you. Thank you for taking the time to get to know us!

Our Story

We adore children and can imagine no greater gift than to share our love with them.

Our family is deeply rooted in faith, which serves as the foundation for everything that we do. We are profoundly grateful for Christ’s many blessings and maintain that faith is more than a belief—it is a way of living with purpose, hope, and a commitment to loving others.

We cherish family and friends; believe in the power of strong relationships built on love, trust, and unwavering support; and embrace every opportunity for adventure and growth. We enjoy live music and both playing and watching sports, trying a new recipe, or celebrating our families’ heritage through Lebanese and Greek recipes. We spend most weekends celebrating family events, relaxing around the house, enjoying our hobbies like woodworking and gardening, and going to church. We also love to travel, and particularly enjoy opportunities to be immersed in the sites, food, and history of different cultures.

Home and Family

We are blessed to have a tightly knit family who offer unwavering support.

We both come from large families with loving and selfless parents, many siblings, cousins, uncles and aunts. We have over ten nieces and nephews, who are the light of our lives. In addition to our sister Maria, some of our nieces and nephews have been adopted, as well as the children of our very close friends.

We have a 2-story red brick house, with a large stone side patio and yard. We have four bedrooms and two bathrooms, and Joe even has a wood shop in the basement! We are proud that we built our patio, intentionally designing it to be ideal for hosting a large family. On nice days, Joe will make homemade pizzas in our outdoor pizza oven- one of our favorite ways to enjoy the evening. We grow an annual flower and vegetable garden, which doubles as an outdoor classroom for our nieces and nephews to learn about nature.

Our house is in a diverse neighborhood, and includes walkable access to the library, parks, playgrounds, restaurants, and local shops, and is a short drive to downtown where both of us work. This blend of accessibility, safety, and community connection makes our area an ideal place to raise a family.
