Ellie and Curtis
Hey! We are Curtis, Ellie and Montana!
We’re so humbled and honored to introduce ourselves to you.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know us a bit! While we know these photos and blurbs are just a glimpse of our family, we pray you’ll get a feel for what life in our family is really like: fun, hilarious, full of adventure and love. We can’t wait to share our life with more little ones, and YOU!
Our Story
We met in 7th grade – we know…quite possibly the most awkward stage of life; what are the chances?! We endured each other’s Y2K fashion and music choices all the way through our senior year of high school. We each maintained our own apartment while we worked and went to college full-time. Our sophomore year of college, we got married, continued working and pursuing our education, and even added a long-haired dachshund puppy to the mix! During those years, we traveled almost monthly whether it be to the mountains or the beach or to experience a neighboring city. In our 5th year of marriage, we welcomed our now almost 3.5-year-old daughter, Montana James. Our family loves to try new restaurants, explore our local parks, and volunteer together at our church. We enjoy connecting with families in a similar season of life as us and spending time with our extended family that lives nearby!
Home sweet home!
We live in a well-kept, diverse neighborhood full of active families and young children. We frequently walk the trails around the pond and scooter over to the park. We utilize the clubhouse daily for the gym or pool. We’ve also hosted family gatherings and celebrations in the event space. We are located in a suburb 20 miles north of a major city, so we can easily throw a rock to hit a Chick-fil-a or a Target, or hop on the highway for a short drive to the arboretum. Almost all our immediate family members live within 15 minutes of our house, which makes last-minute get togethers or porch drop offs easy. We are in a coveted school district, but still have access to many private schools and homeschool/hybrid programs. We spend time in our turfed backyard running through the sprinklers, playing football as a family or snuggling up on the rocking chairs near the fire pit. Siloh, our 8-year-old long haired dachshund, thoroughly enjoys lounging in the sun, and kindly obliges to Montana’s imaginary play.

Thank you again for taking the time to learn about our little family. If we’ve determined anything in our 3+ years of parenting Montana, it is that we always want our kids to know they are loved, valued, and believed in. So, it is our goal every day to speak, act and live in a way that reflects that. We look forward to loving, valuing, and believing in more little ones, and YOU!
