We will celebrate who they are, honor the love that brought them into the world, and make sure they always know how deeply wanted and cherished they are - by you and us.

About Us

We're Cody and Emily, a fun, lighthearted couple in our mid-30s, excited to grow our family through adoption.

Cody is a Speech Language Pathologist who loves helping kids, grilling, trivia, Sunday football, and making friends everywhere he goes. Emily is an introvert, book lover, Texas Rangers fan, and dog enthusiast who thrives on cozy gatherings, game nights, and quiet evenings at home. We met on a dating app - proof that sometimes swipes really do lead to happily ever afters!

Together, we balance each other perfectly: Cody sees the big picture, Emily notices the details. Our marriage is rooted in respect, humor, and strong communication, and we choose each other every day. We are licensed foster parents (paused to focus on adoption) and love spoiling our two small-but-mighty dogs. Our home is filled with laughter, love, and a supportive circle of family and friends. Most of all, we are ready to welcome a child into a safe, stable, and joyful home.

Home and Family

We live in what we truly believe is the best neighborhood on the planet.

It's safe, diverse, welcoming, and full of people who really do life together; neighbors go out of their way to help each other, and kids run freely between houses until dark. When the weather's nice, you'll find us grilling out, chatting on porches, and enjoying the simple joys of community.

Our home is cozy and full of love, with spaces for reading, playing games, and quiet evenings together. We have two small-but-mighty dogs who are playful, cuddly, and part of the family in every way. Family traditions are important to us, from Sunday football and backyard barbecues to holiday baking, birthday celebrations, and regular visits with our nieces and nephew (from family and friends alike!).

Our extended family is incredibly supportive and loving, and they're all excited to welcome a child into the fold. Our moms, especially, will be very involved. With laughter, care, and a strong sense of community, our home is a place where a child can feel safe, cherished, and truly at home.
