Hi! We're Dillon and Galen!

Thank you for taking a moment to learn more about us.

We cannot begin to understand how you may feel, but we admire your courage in considering adoption. We hope that as you read about our lives, you can sense the love and joy that define our family. We are so grateful you are here and honored to share a glimpse of our hearts with you.

Our Story

We met in grad school, sat next to each other through a graduation ceremony, and the rest is history! Early in our relationship we found common joy in concerts, ranch trips and cooking dinner together. We are both very easy going and we truly just enjoy spending time together, no matter what it is! We are both educators so the school year is pretty busy but on any given Saturday you can find us having coffee on the back porch, working on a house project or hosting friends for dinner. At least once a month you can find us out at the ranch!

Our relationship became even stronger with the adoption of our first child, Weller. He has brought so much happiness into our lives and we are honored to get to raise him. Weller is smart, gentle and silly! He loves anything with wheels, prefers to be outside and somehow always persuades use to read one more book before bedtime!

Home sweet home!

Home is our favorite place to be!

We bought our house for the spacious and shady backyard as well as the the greatest sunsets. We live right outside the city and truly get a perfect mix of city and country. We enjoy walks around the neighborhood and often take snacks for the neighbor's horses and goats. Our two dogs, Lucy and Pearl guard off squirrels and love to clean up after Weller's snack time. Every year we host an annual Friendgiving in the backyard with 20+ of our best friends, pot luck dinner and a hayride!

Our home is so special to us, it has given us a wonderful backdrop to so many family memories. We have loved raising our son in it and cannot wait to share it with another child.

We believe that it is a privilege to be a parent and we do not take that lightly. We strive to be kind, steady parents who give our children a safe place to learn, grow, and become exactly who they're meant to be. We know this journey is both hard and beautiful, and we will always honor all sides of it. Our children's stories will be celebrated and they will know that the beginning of thier story started with an incredibly brave decision. One that we will be eternally grateful for!
