Hello! We are Abe and Jaime

Though this is just a snapshot of our life, we hope that by the end of our profile, you have an understanding of who we are and the life that we have built. About Us

We met in 2019, when Jaime was finishing college and Abe had just graduated.

A scheduling conflict landed our first date at 5am at a local breakfast spot, but the conversation clicked, and we quickly knew we had something special. We married in 2021 in a small front-porch ceremony during the height of COVID, then celebrated again later with a larger wedding surrounded by family and friends. Our relationship is built on long walks, deep conversations, laughter, and enjoying everyday life together, a partnership that feels steady, supportive, and full of joy. Above all, we love being together. We were eager to grow our family right away. After experiencing infertility and loss, we began exploring other paths to parenthood, a journey that has been hard but deepened our bond and our desire to become parents. Through loved ones who’ve adopted and our own experience fostering, we’ve come to deeply respect what adoption means for everyone involved.

Home sweet home!

Our home is filled with laughter, good food, and happiness, cooking together, playing games at the dining room table, and spending time with our dogs: Chewy, Charlie, and Piper. We’ve worked hard to make it feel welcoming and comfortable for everyone who walks through the door. We live in a family-friendly neighborhood in Wisconsin, with quiet, tree-lined streets, where kids ride bikes to the local zoo and parks, and neighbors gather each summer for a block party (Jaime even started a yarn club with a few of them). Summers mean the farmers market and hiking, winters mean puzzles, museums, and holiday lights. What we love most about where we live is the sense of home, a place where a child can grow, explore, and become who they are, surrounded by love.

We can’t wait to share it with a child and build new traditions together.
