We long for the day that we can become parents and offer a home full of love, safety, and comfort. We're firm believers that everything happens for a reason, and we feel truly blessed that our paths might connect.

We hope this page gives you a small glimpse into our lives and our hearts for adoption, and we would be so grateful for the opportunity to hear your story.

Our Story

Our story began back in 2008 after a few mutual friends introduced us. We hit it off immediately, becoming best friends and falling in love as we bonded over a shared passion for travel and adventure. After years of wonderful experiences together, we were married in the heart of the Joshua Tree desert in 2017. Surrounded by our favorite people, it was truly one of the best days of our lives. Since then, we’ve focused on building a life rooted in our faith, our community, and our family.

Day to day, we both work from home with flexible schedules, which allows us to be deeply involved in the lives of those we love. We find so much peace in nature and the beauty of the outdoors.. whether we’re exploring a mountain trail, tending to our backyard garden, hosting family dinners on the patio, or just playing in the grass with our dog, Nova.

One of our greatest joys is being Aunt/Tia Lisa and Uncle/Tio J! We have a blast planning day outings to local museums and amusement parks, hosting sleepovers, going on family trips, and sitting front row at countless recitals and performances. We believe every child needs a village of love and support, and we would feel incredibly blessed to grow our family even further and share our daily lives with a child of our own.

We truly believe that every day is a gift, and we do our best to treat it that way.

Home and Family

We live in a sunny pocket of Southern California where neighbors truly know each other and kids still ride bikes until the sun goes down.

Our home is bright and open, but the backyard is where life really happens. We’ve filled it with fruit trees and flowers that bring hummingbirds and butterflies to the garden every day. We can’t wait to share this space—a place where a child can get a little messy, stay curious, and simply enjoy being a kid.

We are incredibly grateful for a community that extends well beyond our neighborhood. With both of our families living just nearby, our support network is deep and wide. Our parents and siblings are already cheering for this child and their birth family with so much love and prayer.

Between our nieces, nephews, and friends' children, there is a whole crew of kids ready to welcome a new little buddy into the fold. Your child would grow up surrounded by connection and a circle of people eager to celebrate every milestone with them.

Fun Facts About Us

1. A few of the most daring things we've ever done were hiking a glacier in Iceland, ziplining through the rainforests of Costa Rica and ATVing through the backroads of Hawaii.

2. We still have a collection of VHS tapes from the 90's and love hosting movie nights for our nieces and nephews.

3. Every Christmas Eve, our family gets together and we all wear matching PJs for a night of karaoke and a full spread of goodies.. always ending the evening watching Elf, of course :)

4. Cooking together is a highlight of our day.. with music playing while Jason masters the grill. Lisa enjoys bringing the rest of the meal together with creative side dishes and lots of love.

5. Our families are a beautiful mix of cultures from Guatemala to Costa Rica, so our lives are filled with flavor, diversity, and plenty of dancing!
