We long for the day that we can become parents and offer a home full of love, safety, and comfort. We're firm believers that everything happens for a reason, and we feel truly blessed that our paths might connect.

Our Story

Our story began back in 2008 after being introduced by mutual friends, and since getting married in 2017, we've been building a life and home centered on faith and simple gratitude, and a genuine love for the outdoors. Whether we are tending to our garden, exploring a mountain trail, or just playing with our dog, Nova, we find our greatest happiness in the outdoors and the company of our family. Being an aunt and uncle is one of our favorite parts of life, and we would be so blessed by the chance to grow our family. As you navigate these big decisions, please know that we are rooting for you.

No matter what path you choose, we hope you feel a sense of peace and a deep assurance that you are supported and never alone.

Home and Family

We live in a sunny pocket of Southern California where neighbors truly know each other and kids still ride bikes until the sun goes down.

Our home is bright and open, but the backyard is where life really happens. We've filled it with fruit trees and flowers that bring hummingbirds and butterflies every day. We can't wait to share this space where a child can get a little messy, stay curious, and simply enjoy being a kid.

We are incredibly blessed to have a village just down the road, with both of our families living nearby. Our parents and siblings are our best friends, and they are already cheering for this child and their birth family with so much love and prayer. Between all of our nieces, nephews, and friend's children, there is already a crowd of kids ready to welcome a new little buddy into the crew :) Your child would grow up surrounded by connection and a circle of people eager to celebrate every milestone with them.

Fun Facts About Us

1. A few of the most daring things we've ever done were hiking a glacier in Iceland and ziplining through the rainforest of Costa Rica! 

2. We still have a collection of VHS tapes from the 90s and love hosting movie nights for our nieces and nephews. 

3. Every Christmas Eve, our family gets together and we all wear matching PJs for a night of karaoke and a full spread of goodies.. always ending the evening watching Elf, of course :) 

4. We are tech nerds who both work from home and we love the flexibility it gives us to enjoy the small, daily moments of life together. 

5. Cooking together is a highlight of our day.. with music playing while Jason masters the grill. Lisa enjoys bringing the rest of the meal together with creative side dishes and lots of love. 

6. Our families are a beautiful mix of cultures from Guatemala to Costa Rica, so our lives are filled with flavor, diversity, and plenty of dancing!
