Our lives are centered on family, joy, and connection. Our daughter, Hannah, fills our days with laughter and curiosity. Michael brings fun and spontaneity to every moment, while Jenna adds warmth, steadiness, and love. We balance each other well and we’ve built a happy, meaningful home we’re excited to grow through adoption.

We hope to welcome a child into a life surrounded by laughter, encouragement,
and endless support. As you make this brave decision, please know we’re praying for your peace and clarity and deeply admire your love and strength.

Our Story

We met in October 2020 and knew quickly that we’d get married. Jenna knew by the second date!

As we dated, we spent a lot of time getting to know each other’s values and dreams, and building a strong and loving family was always a shared priority. Faith plays a grounding role in our home — we go to church weekly and serve in different ways (Michael drums on Sundays and Jenna teaches the little ones). It brings us community, hope, and a reminder to love others well.

We love to stay active and enjoy life together — hiking, mountain biking, going to the gym, or planning date nights like concerts, dinners out, or other fun activities. We believe that a strong marriage creates a healthy foundation for a family, so we make time for each other, laughter, and teamwork—usually with a good dose of fun in the mix!

Home and Family

Our Home:

We live in Arizona in a cozy, family-friendly, and culturally diverse neighborhood filled with parks, walking paths, and other young families. Our home is full of love and laughter, with space to play, relax, and grow. We have a nursery ready and waiting — travel-themed to reflect something we value deeply as a family: exploring the world together and appreciating different cultures. We can already picture our future child in this space, surrounded by warmth, adventure, and love. Our backyard has both a pool and a grassy area — perfect for learning to swim, playing, and enjoying sunny days together.

Our Family:

Jenna’s family is warm, close, and full of love. Her mom and stepdad live nearby and have weekly “Nana and Papa” days with Hannah. Nana was a kindergarten teacher, so their time together is always fun and educational. Jenna stays close with her brother in San Diego and talks to him almost daily, while her dad visits from Palm Springs regularly. Family gatherings with aunts, uncles, and cousins are lively, full of laughter, great food, and games. Everyone is thrilled to welcome another child through adoption.

Michael grew up in a large, close-knit family with four siblings and loving parents who have been married for decades. His parents, called Nana and Ohji (Japanese for grandfather because he was stationed in Japan with the US Air Force), adore spending time with Hannah and look forward to more adventures with future children. With fourteen cousins and a big extended family, gatherings are joyful and full of music, storytelling, and love.

His entire family is excited and ready to embrace another grandchild and cousin.

Interesting Facts

About Each of Us:

• Jenna is a former first-grade teacher who now teaches Sunday school.

• Michael played drums in a pop- rock band while living in China as a younger man and he still fills our home with music.

• Hannah has 16 cousins and is always surrounded by family.

As a family:

• We have regular date nights — with a rule of no work or parenting talk!

• We love to travel — our daughter has already been to several states and countries!

• Saturday mornings mean pancakes, library story time, and the park.
