Hello there! We are Topher & Jennifer!

Thank you for taking the time to get to know our family!

We hope as you learn more about us, you will see that adoption for us is an extension of family. We know you love your child deeply, and we have so much admiration and respect for you as a mom. We have always hoped for a big family, and adoption has been part of our story since the beginning of our relationship. Fun fact, Jennifer was adopted as an infant, too! :) If you choose to move forward with us, we want you to know that we will always speak of you with respect and gratitude, and we will make sure your child grows up knowing they are loved by you as well as by us. We feel a lot of love in our home already, and we can’t wait for the possibility of sharing that love with another child.

Our Story

Legend has it that we met on “Farmer’s Only." At least that's the story Topher loves telling complete strangers. Haha! Truly, it started when we both swiped right on Tinder. We quickly discovered a shared love for God, family and building a life filled with laughter, and before long, we knew we had found our favorite person to do life with.

Eight years into marriage, we're still each other's best friends. We laugh every day, steal hugs and kisses whenever we can, and genuinely love spending time together. Whether we're exploring a new country, hunting down the next great restaurant, or making memories with our daughter, we're happiest when we're together as a family. Cheesy right? Haha

Our greatest adventure has been becoming parents to our energetic, joy-filled four-year-old daughter, who we lovingly call - Hannah boo. She amazes us with her curiosity and imagination and laughs often.

We are beyond excited to grow our family! Hannah boo can't wait to be a big sister and prays daily for a baby brother and baby sister to love and play with. We look forward to seeing that sibling relationship blossom as they grow up together.

Home sweet home!

Our home is full of fun, laughter and lots of love for one another!

Much of our time is spent together playing games, building forts, reading books, baking cookies and fresh sourdough bread, shopping at Costco, and hanging out with friends and family.

Moses, our six year old rescue, joined our family during COVID after we prayed for a dog who would be great with kids. He has exceeded every expectation as he is super gentle and patient with young children. We're convinced we hit the jackpot with Moses! He's so loved by our friends that they happily volunteer to dog sit whenever we travel! :)

We live in a quiet neighborhood with a large backyard that backs up to a green-belt, complete with a large covered patio, jungle gym with swing, and a garden where we grow figs, peaches, dewberries, and assorted vegetables and herbs. Our house is within walking distance to our community pool and just minutes away from more than 20 parks full of trails, ponds and playgrounds. We have spent many weekends exploring new parks, which creates a memorable adventure for our family.

Favorite Things

• Family Time: Singing and dancing together, watching "Kids Baking Championship" together on the weekend, laughing together, Sundays at church followed by a good nap, swimming in the pool every summer

• Enjoying Nature: daily walks with Moses, taking Hannah to a playground, feeding goats and other animals at nearby farms

• Cherished Family Traditions: nightly dinners together as we share our highs and lows of the day and listen to Hannah tell us funny stories about her day, exploring neighborhood Christmas lights and all things Christmas in December, annual vacations with friends and with Jennifer's parents to explore new cultures and make memories, Sabbath dinners with our church community group

Topher:

• Played lead guitar in a Christian band in Nashville

• Loves chips and salsa

• Enjoys a hammock on the beach or in the backyard

• Doesn't like peas

• Tells Dad Jokes way too often

Jennifer

• Adopted from Taiwan as an infant at 6 months

• Loves serving others and making new friends

• Enjoys good food and great company

• Worked for Mickey Mouse at Disney World back in the day

• Rolls her eyes at all of Topher's Dad Jokes while laughing at them at the same time. LOL

Hannah

• Loves Moses and her grandparents deeply

• Shares toys and stickers with friends and makes bracelets for all of her friends

• Favorite game is "Tag - you're it!" played nightly. LOL

• Joyfully helps mom with chores

• Likes to make people laugh like her daddy
