Hello! We are David and Kate

We're so grateful you're taking a moment to get to know us.

There are so many things we want to say - but most of all, we want you to know how humbled we are that you're considering what kind of parents we might be. We can't begin to imagine all the emotions you are feeling as you think about a plan for you and your baby. Wherever you are in this journey, our sincere hope is that you feel surrounded by love, understanding and support. No matter what you decide, we admire your strength and are truly thankful that you're here, reading our story.

Our Story

For us, timing really has been everything. We grew in the same city, 20 minutes apart, with lots of overlapping friends - our best friends went to prom together! Fifteen year ago, we ended up at the same concert with those friends, and our connection was instant. Five years later, we got married in the NC mountains, promising each other that our love would always be our greatest adventure. Since then, we've been building a life full of joy, intention, and deep connection. We've grown up together - the ups, the downs and all the little moments in between have made our bond stronger. We look forward to our next big adventure - parenthood.

What makes our relationship work is simple: we're best friends. We laugh a lot, balance each other well, and believe that even the ordinary parts of life can be meaningful and fun when shared.

Home sweet home!

We love where we live and planted deep roots here. Our home is in a cozy neighborhood just outside a big city - offering the charm of a small town with the opportunities of city life.

Our community is filled with friendly faces and fun traditions like Food Truck Fridays, Halloween parades, and summer concerts. Just around the corner from our home a picture-perfect main street comes alive with families, kids, and pups every weekend.

Our home is a three-bedroom charmer that instantly felt like us especially when we saw the backyard. It’s our happy place, complete with a screened-in porch, playset, and fire pit where we gather with friends on the weekends or even after a long day. We can already picture pushing a little one on the swing or reading a book to them on the porch. One of our favorite compliments came from a friend who said, “It just feels like a hug when you walk in.”
