Hi! We are Matt and Katie.

A simple "thank you" doesn't seem like enough when it comes to telling you how honored we are that you are taking the time to learn about us in the middle of such a big decision in your life. We know that the choice you are making for your child is one that comes from a place of unconditional love, and we can imagine that things feel really uncertain right now.

If reading our profile offers even one thing, we hope it brings you a sense of peace. We hope that you are able to feel the love that we have to give and feel confident knowing that any child we are given the gift of raising will be loved beyond measure.

As we open our hearts and arms to the journey of adoption, we also want you to know that there is space for you in our lives too—in whatever way feels most comfortable to you.

About Us

Our love story began 10 years ago as teenagers and has since grown into a lifelong partnership built on friendship, trust, and a whole lot of laughter.

We truly are each other’s best friend and favorite person! We've been married for five years and have built a life we love—one filled with home-cooked meals, weekend road trips, game nights with friends, walks with our sweet dog Lilly, and relaxing evenings watching our favorite shows.

Our journey to becoming parents has not been easy, but it has only made us stronger as a couple and even more confident in the kind of parents we want to be. Through it all, our dream to give a child a life full of love, support, and opportunity has only grown stronger. We are two people who lead with love, lean on faith, and believe that life’s greatest purpose is found in caring for others—and we cannot wait to pour our hearts into the gift of parenthood.

Our Home and Family

We’ve spent the past several years turning our house into a home, and we’re so proud of our three-bedroom, two-bathroom house in the heart of a family-filled neighborhood. Our living room hosts many game nights, our kitchen is where we cook dinner together, and Matt’s “man cave” is where he cheers on his favorite sports teams. As much as we love our home now, we can't wait for the days where our guest bedroom is a nursery and our backyard is filled with swing sets and toys.

We both come from big extended families, where the holiday gatherings are overflowing, our siblings are our best friends, and our parents are always just a phone call away. Our nieces and nephews light up our world and our friends are more like family at this point. A majority of our loved ones are less than a 10-minute drive away, which makes our close-knit community feel even more like home.

Our charming small town is the kind of place where neighbors wave from their porches, kids ride bikes until sunset, and community feels like family. It’s peaceful and safe, yet just a short drive from a big city where we can enjoy concerts, try new restaurants, or cheer on our favorite sports teams.

We feel incredibly lucky to live in a place that’s both cozy and full of opportunity—a place perfect for raising a child.

Katie's Favorite Things

• Taking workout classes and going on long walks around the neighborhood for exercise!  

• Driving the back country roads with Matt while blasting our favorite music.

• Watching reality TV and staying up-to-date on pop culture!

• Summer days at my mom's pool with friends and family. 

• Early mornings before work doing my daily devotional and listening to worship music. 

• Any sort of shopping: clothes shopping, home decor shopping, even grocery shopping! 

Matt's Favorite Things

• Football Season, Basketball Season, Baseball Season, NASCAR Season,.....Basically, any sporting event! 

• Doing crossword puzzles, word searches, and playing card games! 

• Playing golf on the weekends with my friends.

• Watching cooking shows and trying new recipes in the grill. 

• Movie nights at home with Katie and our pup, Lilly!

• Visiting Wisconsin to cheer on The Green Bay Packers!
