Taylor and Kelsey

Kelsey and Taylor hope to adopt

Hi there. We are Taylor & Kelsey!

We hope this note finds you well and surrounded by love and support.

Taylor and I have deep respect and admiration for the courageous decision you are making in considering adoption for your child.

While we cannot fully comprehend the range of emotions you must be experiencing,  please know that we are here to offer support in any way that we can. This decision is one of the most difficult you will ever have to make, and we want you to feel empowered and confident in whatever choice you ultimately decide. Don't let anyone ever take your power away.

Thank you for considering us as potential adoptive parents. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. Our wish is that your decision fills you with peace, comfort, and confidence.

Our Story

Taylor grew up on the US-Mexico border in El Paso, Texas surrounded by the enchanting Chihuahuan desert. Kelsey is from the rolling green hills of western Kentucky.

We met and fell in love in Denver, Colorado, ironically, at a Kentucky Derby Party.  The horse that won that year was called "Authentic." This made us smile, as we pride ourselves in having a perfectly imperfect, authentic, loving relationship.

A typical weekend for us is exploring new hiking trails through the foothills by our home and spending quality time with our close-knit friends. We feel very lucky to have a supportive group of friends and family in a city and community that we truly love.

Taylor is an amazing chef. We love to host family and friends. We prioritize cooking healthy and delicious meals that we enjoy together as a family every night. Our home is often filled with the sound of music! From our son's bongo drums to our local jazz radio station.

We are blessed with a happy and energetic toddler. Our son, Clark, is eager to be a big brother! We've always dreamed of a large family and to be surrounded by what we endearingly call 'beautiful chaos.' We look forward to growing our family through adoption.

Home and Family

In hopes of growing our family, we recently purchased a beautiful home, in a stunning neighborhood in the Denver foothills.

We live on a safe cul de sac. Our neighbors have young children and we take turns hosting get togethers on a regular basis. They are excited and supportive of us growing our family through adoption.

We are a short drive to incredible schools, museums, farmer's markets, cultural festivals and within walking distance to red rocks formed nearly 300 million years ago with limitless open space and hiking trails.

We are blessed with an amazing support network. Our close friends are truly an extension of our family and play a significant role in our lives. Nearly all of our Colorado friends have recently had children. This has been fun, and we've grown and learned together as new parents.

Our relationships are incredibly fulfilling and provide us with a sense of belonging and connection. We spend our weekends together camping in the mountains, fishing on the Colorado river, and picnicking at Denver's parks. We take vacations together and love to adventure to southwest towns like Santa Fe and relaxing beaches.

Taylor and I will lead by example and create a supportive and nurturing environment where your child feels loved, respected, and encouraged to grow and learn.

Your child will feel pride for their culture, ethnicity, and background. We are dedicated to expanding and deepening our multicultural communities, as we know this is essential for providing support, growth, understanding, and a sense of belonging for your child.

Favorite Family Traditions

  • Celebrating birthdays with Tres Leches cake (Taylor’s favorite).

  • Spending Christmas in El Paso, TX with Taylor’s family.

  • Practicing gratitude (even for one minute) every morning.
