Hi there, we are Josh and Keni (and Nash too!)

We want to thank you for taking the time to get to know us!

Although we don’t know you yet, we have been thinking and praying for you and your baby. We can only imagine as you consider an adoption plan how you may have a mixture of emotions. We know that decisions like this don’t come easily or lightly. We greatly admire and appreciate the love you must have for your baby! We want you to know if you choose adoption, and choose us to be your child’s family, we promise to love and support you through this as well. If chosen, we hope you can find peace in knowing your little one will be so incredibly loved and cared for - not only by ourselves but also by our families, friends, and the community of people we have surrounded ourselves with.

Our Story

We first met through mutual friends on the Fourth of July in 2011 while working at a Bible camp, though we didn’t begin dating until the summer of 2012.

In May, we will celebrate 12 years of marriage and are still just as crazy about each other as we were in the beginning. Our marriage is built on a deep friendship—we truly are best friends and the first person we want to share both our successes and struggles with.

For the past 13 years, we’ve been part of the same church family, which has played a meaningful role in our lives. When I (Keni) am not working part-time as a barista at our local coffee shop, our days are filled with visits to the grandparents, time with friends, park trips, grocery runs, and cozy playtime at home before naptime. Our son’s favorite moment of the day is when he gets to excitedly shout “Daddyyyy!” as Josh walks through the door. Evenings are our favorite time together as a family—whether that’s a walk to the park, playing until bedtime, or relaxing with a show and a few hobbies after a full day. Life with our family is simple, joyful, and centered around time spent together.

Our Home and Family

We live in a busy town in Minnesota where just about everything you could need is only a few minutes away.

In the summer of 2025, we moved into a new home after outgrowing our townhouse. It’s a charming two-story with four bedrooms and three bathrooms, giving us plenty of room to grow as a family.

We feel so lucky to live in a welcoming neighborhood with kind and friendly neighbors. Right across the street is a park with a walking path, playground, and pickleball court; Nash absolutely loves the park! While Minnesota winters can be long and cold, over the summer and fall we enjoyed taking him on long walks with our dog, Kevin, and spending lots of time outside together.

• full name is Kendra but has been called Keni since birth
