Kenna and Jack
Hey there! We are Jack and Kenna!
We want you to know how much we admire your courage, strength, and the immense love you have for your child. We recognize this decision is one of the most profound acts of love, and we do not take that lightly. You will always have a special place in our hearts and in your child's life. They will know their story, and they will know the immense love that guided your decision.
We're deeply grateful for the opportunity to share a glimpse of our lives with you. No matter what you decide, please know we see your strength, and we admire you beyond measure.
We wish you peace, clarity, and support throughout this journey.
Our Story
We met through a dating app while we were in college and met for the first time at a coffee shop.
Jack hated coffee (and learned to love it!) but was eager to meet Kenna. The first thing he noticed wasKenna’s nursing textbook and immediately knew that not only was she extremely beautiful but also highly intelligent. It wasn’t long before we knew we were made for each other. Two years later,Jack proposed on the beach at sunset. We were married nine months later at a vineyard for an intimate ceremony and reception.
We have been married for over five years, and our relationship is even sweeter than when we first got married. We have gone through so much growth both separately and together. Our faith gives us grace for each other and a love that is deeper than marriage, a love for who the person is, even if you don’t always like them. We are each other’s greatest fans and best friends, which is what we love most about our marriage.
Home sweet home!
We live in a recently remodeled split-level style home.
We have three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a garage that we converted into a basement. We live on an acre and have a fenced-in backyard with plenty of room for a play set someday. Our home’s personality is a great blend of Jack’s modern style and Kenna’s Southern comfort. We have tried hard to create a home that is cozy and welcoming to whoever steps through our door. We love to host people in our home for fires in the backyard and grilling out. We also host ministry events and have friends over for dinners to create a place where people can gather.
We live in a smaller town, but we are close to large city; we love that we have the best of both worlds! We live in Southern Missouri in the rolling hills of the Ozarks with two beautiful lakes. There is a plethora of outdoor activities with lake access, hiking trails, parks, and tennis/pickleball courts. We have a local recreation center with multiple indoor and outdoor pools. Our town also has a large amusement park, several adventure parks, and countless family-friendly shows and performances.
“All authority in Heaven and on Earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Our Favorite Things
Cooking each other’s meals allows us to serve one another.
Going to festivals, breweries, and restaurants allows us to have fun together while being apart of our special community.
Spending one on one quality rest time allows us to rest together knowing that our home together is our safe space.
Holiday Traditions
During the 4th of July, we like to grill out, listen to music, go to the lake, and watch fireworks from our house which has a view of several different displays.
Thanksgiving is almost always spent with Kenna’s parents where there is breakfast, casserole, football all day, and a yummy dinner in the afternoon.
Easter is a time to spend with our church community serving the Lord and one another while getting to dress up in bright colors.
During the Christmas season, we make cookies, make soups, watch Christmas movies and cheesy Hallmark shows, and sit around the fire pit with blankets and hot chocolate.
“There’s some good in this world, and it’s worth fighting for.”
