Kristin and Gerard

Hey there! We are Kristin & Gerard!

First, let us start by saying thank you. Thank you for your strength, your courage, and your love.

We can only imagine the weight of the decisions you are facing, and we want you to know that we see you, and we deeply respect the love you have for your child.

We are writing this letter with a heart full of hope and a deep desire to share a little about our lives and the life we dream of offering your child. We want you to know that this decision, should you choose us, is one we will never take for granted. It would be the greatest honor of our life to love, nurture, and guide your child.

Our Story

Gerard and I first met in a small deli in New York, Rocky’s Deli in Millwood NY, where he worked. It was love at first sight.

My face turned bright red, and I could barely get the words out to place my order. I knew at that moment that he was the man I was meant to spend the rest of my life with. Unfortunately, life had other plans and I ended up moving to Massachusetts.

A year later, fate brought me back to that same deli, and this time, it was Gerard’s face that turned red. He told me he thought he’d have to search the streets of Massachusetts to find me. From that day on, we’ve been inseparable! The Deli will forever be one of our favorite places!

We live in Western Massachusetts with our dog, Bailee, and two cats, Oliver and Lily. Our 21-year-old daughter, Juliana, lives in Boston and is in her senior year of college, getting her degree in Architecture. I became a mom at 19, and Gerard came into our lives shortly after. He has been the most incredible stepdad to Juliana, and we’re so proud of the family we’ve built together.

We can't wait to raise another child!

Home is Where the Heart is!

We built our dream home, a modern farmhouse on a quiet cul-de-sac, surrounded by farmland. We plan to stay here for the long haul.

Our neighborhood is truly one of a kind—we come together as a community several times a year for street-wide gatherings. In December, we have an annual cookie swap, and this past August, we hosted a pizza-making night! Each household brought ingredients for their favorite pizza, and we rolled out the dough together, cooked them on the grill, and spent the evening around the fire sharing stories about our summer. Impromptu meetups are also common, you’ll often find us hanging out in the street, chatting while the kids play or the dogs run around. Our neighborhood is wonderfully diverse, with families and couples from various cultural backgrounds, including mixed-race families. There’s a great mix of children here, ranging in age from 6 months to 9 years old, making it a vibrant and welcoming community.
