Hello! We are Kristin and Rob

Thank you for allowing us to share a bit about ourselves with you.

We can imagine that getting to know a family through a brief collection of pictures and paragraphs is a challenging task, but we hope you will find that we are a caring, sometimes silly, family with a lot of love to offer your baby. It is important to us that you know that we have been praying for you from the moment we decided to adopt a child. We recognize that the choice you are considering for your baby is unfathomably hard, but it demonstrates your deep love for them. We admire your strength and selflessness, and we are so grateful for you choosing life for your child. Our prayer for you is that you recognize how incredibly strong you are and feel a genuine peace in whatever choice you make. Our hope for your baby is that they grow up in a happy, loving home, and that they always know the fullness of their adoption blessing.

Our Story

Our story first began when we were introduced while Rob was on a date with someone else.

I remember thinking to myself that his date was a really lucky girl! A few months later Rob and I ran into each other at a restaurant. That night we ended up talking for what seemed like hours, and I knew right then and there that he had my heart. It was only five months after our first date that Rob asked me to marry him and it was the easiest yes of my life. After eight years together, we are happier than ever and thank God for putting us in each other’s lives. We are a very active couple and love spending time together outdoors. Over the past few years, many of our Saturday’s have consisted of hiking nearby mountains or hitting the ski slopes in the winter. We have also always enjoyed traveling together. We love exploring the culture of new places through the local cuisine, and we like to try pretty much every type of food we can get our hands on. While we love a good adventure, we equally enjoy some cozy time at home, cooking together, and watching football with friends and family.

Home sweet home!

We live in a quaint two bedroom, two bathroom apartment in the heart of a lively city.

Our home is updated but in a historic building, which was important to us when we were looking for a home because we want to be a part of preserving the rich cultural history of our neighborhood. We have lived in our home for two years and have already made so many fond memories. We enjoy hosting dinner parties and fun family gatherings that are often themed. We placed speakers throughout our house so that we can relax to music, listen to a sports game, or impromptu dance parties that can break out any time. Our home’s central gathering place is our living room that is long and skinny. The awkward shape required us to purchase an extra long couch that has become a staple in our home. We often end the day curled up on the couch, reflecting on the day, making future plans, reading, or watching a movie. Our friends and family have come to know our living room as a cozy place to land.

Our family traditions

• Hosting big gatherings for friends and family to celebrate all the holidays.

• Collecting Christmas ornaments from every new place we travel to.

• Watching college football every Saturday in the fall.

• Eating dinner together every night as a family.

• Visiting the beach with Kristin's family each summer.

Our greatest desire for our family is that we continue to grow together and enjoy many moments of happiness along the way.

Your child will be surrounded by aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins, and friends that cannot wait to love and support them, and we want you to know that you will also be a treasured member of our family.
