While we don’t know what it feels like to place a child for adoption, we do know what it feels like to wrestle with difficult decisions, and we recognize the tension between grief and joy that adoption can bring. Something we approach with great anticipation may very well be something you approach with a heavy heart. Wherever you are in the process, know that you are seen and loved. We are praying for you–that your steps would be guided, that you would feel supported in your decisions, and that you would be comforted in what may be the most difficult time in your life.

Our Story

We’re Garrett and Liz—partners in life, love, and on the dance floor!

We met at a city-wide scavenger hunt organized by our church. We spent a few hours driving around the city in Garrett's bright orange Challenger, listening to music, and trying to earn points for things like, "Jump in the church fountain and take a picture!" We dated for about one year before getting engaged on a flight to New Orleans where Garrett chose to propose mid-flight because "no matter where we land, we'll always land together." Garrett’s calm and steady nature balances Liz’s detail-loving brain, and together we make a pretty great team: Garrett cooks, Liz cleans, and we both agree that dessert is a love language! Our marriage is built on faith, which has been our anchor through life’s highs, lows, and all the in-betweens. Since dating, we’ve dreamed of raising children together with a desire to build a legacy rooted in joy, connection, and growth. We experienced five years of infertility that strengthened us individually and in marriage, with one of the greatest gifts being our strengthened heart for adoption. We’re excited to grow our family through adoption and consider it a privilege to honor and celebrate the love found within the adoption triad and story.

Home sweet home!

We live in a cozy one-story house with four bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms, and a kitchen that’s seen its fair share of pancake flipping and dance moves.

The open layout makes it perfect for hosting—whether it’s game night in the living room or deep conversations around the dining table. We love spilling out onto the front porch, where the rocking chairs and garden fountain do their best impression of the countryside! Our street is full of friendly neighbors who believe in the sacred tradition of front yard hangouts and spontaneous chats. Just a few blocks away are the neighborhood pool, park, and tennis courts—ideal for future cannonballs, playground adventures, and family walks with our goldendoodle, Murphy, in tow. People often say that our home feels welcoming, and that’s exactly what we hope: a place where everyone feels safe, loved, and seen. We live in a big Texas city that somehow feels small thanks to our tight-knit community. We’re close to our church and the school we hope to send our children to—both filled with programs that support families and kids. From hayrides in the fall to church camps in the summer, we’re excited to share the rhythms of this life with a child!
