About Us

We met through mutual friends at a charity event in Houston. That chance encounter sparked a bond that eventually led to marriage. After three years of courtship, we celebrated our love with a wedding surrounded by family; including some who traveled from overseas and many friends.

We have been married for 7 years and due to a preexisting medical condition, fertility treatments are the only way my husband and I could conceive a child. Thankfully our son, Jude was successfully conceived, and he has been the biggest blessing and love of our life. After experiencing challenges in growing our family, we felt called to expand our hearts through adoption. We were incredibly blessed to welcome our beautiful baby girl through adoption, a journey that filled our home with even more love and gratitude. That experience only deepened our desire to continue growing our family through adoption and to share the same unconditional love with another child.

We have so much love to give and share and believe God’s plan for us is to adopt. My husband would describe me as a loving mother who puts our children's needs first, as well as a thoughtful and compassionate daughter, sister and friend. When I think of my husband, he is a role model for our children and always puts his family as the priority in his life.

As a couple we are hardworking, adventurous, and most importantly loving parents who value family and God above all else.

Home and Family

Originally built in the late ’70s, our home and backyard have been fully renovated to create a cozy, child-friendly space.

We thoughtfully designed every area with our curious and energetic kids in mind. The guest house in the back is perfect for the many friends and relatives who regularly visit. We have truly poured our hearts into making this house a warm and welcoming family home. Just a short walk away is a family social club with swimming pools, tennis courts, an indoor soccer field, and animals for members to visit.

Our neighborhood is safe, fun, and filled with families, and the clubhouse hosts special holiday events throughout the year. Our beloved pup Lucy adores Jude and Frankie and is always gentle and loving with children. We are blessed to come from very close-knit families, with most of our relatives living nearby in Texas. Mary’s family lives about eight hours away but visits often, and we make regular trips so the kids stay close with their grandparents and aunt who adore them. One of our favorite traditions on Lucas’s side is gathering at least once a month usually on Sundays for a big Italian feast with family and close friends, filling the house with laughter and joy.

Mary's Fun Facts

• Loves animals, especially dogs. I love animals so much I even volunteered at K-9 Angels Rescue, where I walked dogs, administered vaccinations and assisted in getting them adopted.

• Active member in the Junior League of Houston.

• Have a Bronze Membership with the Houston Club Pet Set Young Professional Group.

• Enjoy playing tennis, doing pilates or yoga, physical fitness as well as hiking.

Lucas’s Fun Facts

• Have been a volunteer with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo for 15 years and counting.

• Loves to cook. I was even the first-place winner of the Italian Family Cook-Off, 2015 hosted by Nundini's restaurant.

• Enjoy being in the mountains and snowboarding. I am a very experienced snowboarder due to my time spent on the snowboarding team all throughout high school.

• I appreciate time spent at the beach with the family as well as fishing.
