Megan and Sean
Hi! We are Megan, Sean, and Joey
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us and our life.
We greatly admire you and your decision to consider an adoption plan for your child. The decision to care for and provide for your baby and to develop a plan that is best for the two of you is beautiful. Such actions truly only come from the depth of a parent’s love. Please know that we are praying for you.
If chosen, please be assured that we will love and care for your baby with all we have to offer, and they will be happily welcomed into our large network of our family and friends.
About Us
While we initially met in 2017, our relationship truly started after spending all night on New Year's Eve talking at a friend's home, kicking off the start of 2019. The next morning, Sean's twin brother "accidentally" liked Megan's profile picture on Facebook (under Sean's name) when Sean told his brother that he thought he'd marry Megan. After becoming friends first, we started dating in early 2020 and then fell in love during the Covid lockdown. Our friendship formed a solid foundation for our love for one another. We went on hikes, traveled to visit friends, cooked meals together, and kayaked. We emerged with an engagement in November of 2020 and were married at our local church in January 2022. Our marriage has been a true blessing, filled with open communication and honesty. We are incredibly silly and laughter follows us throughout our days.
Our son, Joey, joined our family through adoption and was born in December 2024. Joey is a curious and happy toddler who loves being outside and exploring the world.
He’s already a great cousin to our nieces and nephew and is going to be an amazing older brother.
Home and Family
We live in a vibrant neighborhood in suburban Philadelphia.
Our neighborhood is full of all ages, from young kids to older couples, all of whom go out for evening walks each night. Our area has mixed diversity, with children from a variety of different cultural and ethnic backgrounds. Our home is within walking distance of our local elementary school and an easy bus ride for middle and high school. We have many ongoing social events in the neighborhood for kids and families alike, including weekly summer time block parties and a fall festival party each year.
Both Megan and Sean’s family live in the area and we see them on a regular basis! A child would grow up with at least four cousins, with a new addition arriving in summer 2026. We routinely have FaceTime chats, playground meet ups, Sunday night dinners, and family outings at the beach with our parents, siblings, and nieces and nephew.
Our Family Values
Love: We believe all actions that come from love should be intended to lift people up
Laughter: Laughter is the best medicine in the world and helps bring light to the dark moments of life
Faith: Our Catholic faith grounds us and keeps us steady in relationships and with one another
Curiosity: Looking at the world through the eyes of curiosity allows us to be always discussing and asking questions
Favorite Family Traditions
Winter: Going for walks in the snow, looking at Christmas lights, celebrating many December birthdays
Spring: Gardening in our yard, hiking on nearby trails, reading on the porch
Summer: Vacationing at the beach, eating ice cream, spending every possible moment outdoors
Fall: Watching football with friends, looking at the changing leaves on hikes, trick-or-treating in our neighborhood
“Love is shown by little things, by attention to small daily signs which make us feel at home. Faith grows when it is lived and shaped by love.”
Thank you!
