Paris and David
Hey there! We are Paris & David!
Our hearts are with you and thank you for taking the time to get to know us.
We have deep admiration and respect for the courageous decision you are considering, and we approach it with empathy for the weight you carry. For many years, we have dreamed of growing our family through adoption, and we are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and loving home where your child can thrive. We know this journey begins with you, and we are humbled by your strength and selflessness. Your love for your child is evident in the choices you are making, and we promise to honor that love every day. We would be honored to support your child in discovering their passions and dreams. If you choose us, we would welcome the chance to know you better and build a relationship grounded in trust, respect, and understanding, with your wishes and feelings held in the highest regard. Your child will always know the incredible love and sacrifice that brought them to us.
Our Story
Written by Paris
We met in 2013 when David played football at Harvard with Paris’s brother, started dating in 2015, and after a few years in New York, moved to Dallas, where we married in 2019 and settled into our home with our dog, Pepper. From the very beginning, our greatest dream has been to build a family. Six years of infertility were the hardest experience of our lives, but they strengthened our marriage and our faith. Adoption has always been part of our story; it has touched both of our families for generations. Our daughter, Elsie, has exceeded our every hope, and we are deeply grateful for the beautiful relationship we share with her birth mom. Our faith is central to our lives, and we serve at our church through marriage prep and as youth faith coaches, and we will raise our children to know they are wonderfully created and loved by God. Paris loves cooking, baking sourdough, and hosting friends, while David is a former athlete and diehard Steelers and LSU fan, and together we enjoy pickleball, trying new restaurants, traveling, hiking, and family walks with Pepper. Elsie is a joyful, Disney-loving water baby who sings every Frozen and Moana song, adores her best buddy Pepper, and lights up around her friends, cousins, and grandparents. We can’t wait to welcome another child into our family and share a lifetime of love, faith, and adventure together.
Home sweet home!
Our four-bedroom home is happiest when it’s full, with friends and family gathered around the kitchen and cozy nights by the fireplace.
The backyard has a pool for hot Texas summers and plenty of grass for Pepper and our kids to play on. The nursery is just down the hall from our bedroom for those late-night wake-ups, and we can’t wait to turn our extra guest rooms into bedrooms for our growing family. More than anything, we want it to be a place of refuge and belonging, where your child can scatter toys as a toddler, build forts as a kid, bring friends over as a teenager, and always come home to as an adult. We live in a quiet, friendly, diverse neighborhood with a park and a playground at the end of our street that hosts holiday events like a July 4th cookout and an Easter egg hunt. During the week, we like to walk our dog, exercise, and have get togethers all within our neighborhood. We live near some of the most kid and family-friendly destinations in the country with several of the largest entertainment venues in the country all within a short drive from our house. We love to take part in family fun together at these during the summer and on the weekends.
Things that make Paris happy:
Being a stay at home mom and watching our child learn new things
Cooking Italian or New Orleans food and baking sourdough, especially when I see my friends or family enjoying it
Harry Potter books and movies
The beach!
Things that make David happy:
Seeing my girls when I get home from work
Weekends during football season
Morning rounds of golf
Dessert
“Let all that you do be done in love.”
In Closing
Thank you for considering us as parents for your child; we are deeply grateful and have so much admiration for your strength, love, and courage.
Though we haven’t met yet, we are connected by the hopes we share for this child’s future, and we promise to honor your story and the trust you place in us. If you choose us, we will love your child unconditionally every day and give them a safe, nurturing home where they can grow into the incredible person we already know they will be. Regardless of your decision, we are praying for peace and clarity for you on this journey.
