Hello! We are Rocky and Rebekah

We know you want the best for your baby, and that you love them so much. We’ve been praying for you since we started our adoption journey, and continue to pray that you receive clarity, peace, and comfort in whatever path is best for you. We hope this gives you an idea of who we are, the wonderful life we’ve built together. But even more, of the overflow of love and dedication we have to share. We are an open book and, if chosen, hope to get a chance to sit with you and hear the hopes and desires you have for your child and how we can honor you in their life as they grow up.

Family is everything to us, and if there’s one thing our families have taught us, it’s that families are built on love and go far beyond what we can even imagine.

Our Story

We grew up in the same area, not far from each other, but didn’t meet until we were young adult coworkers. Several years later, we got married in Japan at the city hall, and after the paperwork was signed, the clerks gave us a peace sign and snapped a quick photo with us. Spending our first 5 years of marriage overseas, away from family, really strengthened our bond. We love to travel and we’ve moved several times in the past 10 years. We’ve discovered that home is where your love is.

Rocky is disciplined but also so funny, which brings humor to all situations in life. Rebekah is quiet and caring, covering everyone in a sense of peace and love. In our free time, Rocky loves to remodel the house and do woodworking projects like making furniture or chess boards. Rebekah enjoys baking sweet treats and crocheting items for family.

We can’t wait to share our hobbies with a child and see what interests of their own develop.

Home and Family

Originally from the Chicago area, we now live in north Texas and love it!

The town is peaceful and diverse and the people are extra friendly. Nearly every neighbor on our street came to introduce themselves when we moved in! There are lots of parks with playgrounds and a small lake nearby. We usually spend our time on a walk around the lake, cook a meal from scratch like pizza or tacos, play a game together or explore a local event happening. Although our families are not nearby, we travel to see them multiple times a year, and they do the same. They are all so excited for us to become parents and to welcome another family member.

Favorite Family Traditions

• Choosing our own dessert for our birthday instead of a traditional cake

• Making tamales during Christmas

• Taking a vacation with the whole family in a new place every year

Things That Make Us Happy

• Traveling the world and experiencing new cultures

• Building Lego sets and playing Playing Pokemon GO together—gotta catch 'em all!

• Spending time with family

• Cooking, eating and trying new restaurants
