We don't pretend to know exactly what your journey has looked like, but we recognize the incredible strength it has taken to reach this moment. Our Story

We met while co-hosting a community event at a grocery store and instantly clicked. After six years of adventure-filled dating, we got married in 2023 and now live in a cozy, laughter-filled home in Texas with our sweet labradoodle, Daxen. Robyn runs her own wellness business and Steve works in strategic partnerships. We both work from home & are excited for the flexibility to be very present parents. We love spending time outdoors, traveling together, hosting neighborhood get-togethers, and our cozy couch nights watching a new show.

We've talked about wanting adoption to be part of our family before we were even married. After experiencing four unexplained pregnancy losses in the past year, we've navigated our own feelings of grief, longing, and hope, which has deepened our empathy for the difficult decisions and emotions you might be facing. While we know everyone's experience with loss is unique, we understand that loss and love have brought both of us to this moment. Our hearts have leaned toward adoption since the early days of our relationship, and we feel hopeful and grateful for the chance to grow our family this way. We both come from close-knit families who are beyond excited to welcome a child.

We’ve always dreamed of becoming parents and are stepping into this journey with full hearts and a deep commitment to creating a home full of love and laughter.

Home Sweet Home

We live in a family-friendly suburb of Texas that’s growing quickly but still holds onto a small-town feel.

Our neighborhood is full of families, and we’ve become close with several friends who live just a few doors down. Throughout the year, we take turns hosting family events like the Super Bowl party, Halloween, Secret Santa, and New Year’s. On warm evenings, you’ll often find us out on a nightly family walk with our pup, Daxen. Saturday mornings usually start with a trip to the farmers market just five minutes from our house, and we love grabbing coffee from local shops or attending seasonal events in the historic town square. Daxen is a gentle, loyal labradoodle who’s especially sweet with kids and loves being part of it all. There’s also an elementary school right across the street from us with a big playground we can’t wait to enjoy with future little ones. The community here feels safe, active, and full of life, and we truly couldn’t imagine a better place to raise a family.

Family traditions

1. Picking out a new Christmas ornament each year to represent a memory

2. Watching & lighting fireworks on the 4th of July with family & our nieces/nephews

3. Saturday morning trips to the local farmers market just five minutes from home

4. Collecting mugs from all the places we travel!

5. Hosting the annual neighborhood superbowl gathering.

Things that make us happy

1. Traveling & seeing the world.

4. Hosting friends and family for game nights

5. Playing music with the house dimly lit for a cozy feel

6. Cheering on our nieces and nephews at soccer games, dance recitals, or pool days

7. Going on nightly walks (or golf cart rides!) with our dog, Daxen
