Sarah and Chris
Hello! We are Chris, Sarah, and Bravery
We know that considering adoption is a journey filled with love, strength and deep emotions. We want you to know that we see you, we respect you, and we are honored that you’re taking the time to get to know us.
Adoption has already been one of the greatest blessings in our lives, and we are so hopeful about growing our family in this way again. As you read our story, we hope you get a true sense of who we are—the love we share, the kind of parents we are striving to be and the community of family and friends who are ready to embrace another child with open hearts.
More than anything, we want you to feel supported and at peace with whatever path you choose—for you and your baby. If we can be even a small part of making this season feel less lonely or more hopeful, we’d be honored.

Our Story
We met Halloween night in 2013 at a church celebration. Sarah was dressed as a scarecrow, and Chris showed up as “Where’s Waldo,” photobombing everyone’s selfies. That lighthearted night turned into a friendship and eventually, a marriage built on trust and grace.
We were married in January 2015 and have spent the years since building a strong foundation of faith, teamwork, and joy that guides how we live and parent.
In April 2024, God blessed us with our son, Bravery, through adoption. We have a close, open relationship with his birth family that includes regular messages and visits. It’s been one of the greatest gifts of our lives—to see how love can expand between families. Bravery is full of life, giggles, and curiosity, and we know in our hearts he will be the most loving, encouraging, and protective big brother.
Faith is at the center of everything we do. We trust that God is writing each chapter of our story with purpose and that He’s already guiding the path that brings the right people—and the right little one—into our lives. If you’re reading this, please know we see the courage and love in your heart.
No matter what decision you make, we pray you feel peace, support, and the deep assurance that you are not alone.
Home and Family Life:
We live in a quiet rural town in Southern California surrounded by farms and open space.
It’s the kind of place where kids can run barefoot, neighbors wave, and lots of trucks drive down the road. Most weeks we stop by local farmstands for eggs, produce, and sourdough (because honestly, Sarah doesn’t have the patience to bake it herself). Our extended family lives nearby, so we see them for holidays and special occasions. Our church community has become like family to us—it’s full of people who show up for each other and make life feel less busy and more connected.
We love simple traditions that make our home feel grounded and full of meaning. The Christmas tree goes up November 1st and we decorate with ornaments the day after Thanksgiving. Before opening presents, we listen to Sarah’s dad reading Luke 2—a recording he made before he passed away. Our son wears his birthday crown each year and we’ll make one for our next child too. At home, things are happy and loud in the best way. Our dachshund, Waylon, follows Bravery everywhere (mostly for the snacks he drops) and the nursery is ready for another little one to love.

In Closing
We don’t know where you are as you read this but we imagine your heart is carrying both love and ache at the same time.
You matter and the love you have for your child is powerful and real. We believe God sees you—every thought, every tear, every bit of strength it takes to walk this road. Even when things feel uncertain, He’s close to the brokenhearted and holds what we can’t. Wherever this journey leads, we hope you feel seen, supported and deeply loved, and we’d be honored to be part of your story if that’s where God leads.
