We know this decision comes with so much love, courage, and thoughtfulness. We want you to know that we have so much respect for you already. Adoption has never felt like a second choice to us. We believe the Lord has called us to this path for building our family. We already pray for the child we hope to welcome into our family and we pray for you too. We know this process is very emotional. Whether we are included in your future or not, please know that we are praying for you, your sweet baby, and whatever comes next.

About Us

We met at church through our mutual friends (who got married).

We were just friends for about 4 years before we started dating in 2020. We were engaged in May of 2021 where Drew proposed with a photo memory walk of our relationship and later married in July of 2022. Sydnee works as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and special education teacher while Drew works as a software engineer.

Our life together is full of simple joys and meaningful moments. We love trying new restaurants, taking long walks through our neighborhood, listening to vinyl records, traveling together, and spending time with our family, friends, and church community. We enjoy paddleboarding with Drew's dad and taking family trips to Disney.

Home sweet home!

We live in a diverse suburb in Texas.

We are extremely close with our extended families. Drew's family lives a mile away from us and we see them almost weekly. Sydnee's family lives a bit farther away, but we frequently see them for holidays, birthdays, and various weekends throughout the year. Inside our home, we like to show off our passions. Lego sets decorate our office space, and the ever-growing vinyl collection adorns our dining room walls. We’ll often pull one out to listen to while we cook dinner. We’re also working on growing our garage gym, hoping to be able to model some healthy lifestyle habits for our kids someday.

Our friends would describe us as:

• Compassionate - We care about those around us deeply.

• Silly - We are always laughing about something or cracking a joke especially when we’re not supposed to.

• Adventurous - We enjoy traveling to old and new places.

• Loyal - We show up when it matters and are always there when you need us.

Things that make us happy:

• A really good meal

• Disney (world, land, or anything in between we aren’t picky)

• A slow evening at home with a vinyl record

• Our friends

• Jesus

• The feeling after a good workout (not during)
