Trisha and Mark

Hello! We are Mark & Trisha!

Thank you for taking time to get to know us. We know this must be an incredibly hard decision to make and we are so proud of you for working to find the right path for your child. We are ready and excited for our family to grow. We look forward to the opportunity to unconditionally love a child, go through the ups & downs of life with them, laugh with them, cry with them, learn with them, & provide a stable home for them to grow up in.

We would also love for them to grow up knowing you, but understand if that is not something you are ready for.

Our Story

We met when we were living on the same floor of our college apartment building.

Trisha and her roommates hosted game nights or sports viewing parties on a near daily basis and Mark was almost always in attendance. We became fast friends when we realized we had similar senses of humor and never stopped laughing- we still love to joke and prank each other. Trisha is a big fan of outdoor adventures and has been teaching Mark the important skills of camping, gardening, and fishing over the years. Mark (aka the "sportscylopedia" teaches Trisha all the names of the new players on his favorite sports teams and she tries to remember some of them. Together, we still love to play any type of games and give each other a run for our money if there is strategy involved.

Home sweet home!

Our home may be small inside, but it is packed with fun, love, and opportunities to learn.

We have all of Trisha's childhood books, toys and games waiting to be brought out again. Daisy (our dog) is looking forward to having someone to drop food on the floor and to run around with. Jaeda (our cat) is excited to have a new human to keep an eye on and snuggle with. Mark can't wait to bring out his baseball glove to play catch in the yard.

Some of our favorite activities throughout the year are: the shark party Mark's parents host, finding Easter eggs at Trisha's parents house, having friends over for the Super Bowl, and tailgating at the ballpark.
