Hello! We are Travis, Vanessa and Roman!

We are grateful you are taking time to learn a little about our family! Though we have not yet met, know that we have prayed for you many times as you continue on this difficult journey. We cannot imagine the emotions and challenges you have had to face so far...but we are so honored you would consider us as you plan for your future! We are here with hearts full of hope that our lives might intersect with yours, and the life of a beautiful child will forever be changed because of this journey we choose together.

We pray that through the words and pictures in this book, you can get a glimpse into our lives and that this may be the beginning of something beautiful!

Our Story

We first met in college in 2016, and our relationship grew through road trips, late-night talks, swing dancing, and plenty of laughter with friends. Our journey had its ups and downs, but God used those seasons to strengthen our faith and knit our hearts together, leading us to marriage in 2021. Since then, marriage has been such a blessing—especially the joy of becoming parents! We were honored to welcome our son, Roman, into our family through adoption, and at a year and a half old, he brings so much joy as we watch him discover the world.

We’re excited to grow our family again and can’t wait to see Roman step into the role of big brother!

Home sweet home!

We live in the heart Omaha, Nebraska, a city that offers all the opportunities of a big city but still has that small-town feel.

Our neighborhood is full of life, with a mix of cultures, ages, and experiences, and we know our neighbors really well! We love walking the streets together as a family, exploring, waving to friends, and enjoying the community around us. Our home is an old house full of character, and our cozy, enclosed side porch is one of our favorite spots for reading, playing, or just hanging out together. We also love tackling house projects—Travis is very handy—and we spent last summer remodeling our kitchen! Our area is close to parks, a world-class zoo, plenty of great restaurants, and even the nation’s best ice cream, making it perfect for family adventures.
