Hello! We are Alice and Ryan, along with our daughter, Audrey.

We are so excited about the opportunity to expand our family, and we appreciate you taking the time to view our profile. We know that whatever choice you make, you’re making it out of love for your child. 

We love being parents more than anything. We have so much love to give your child - and to you.

Our Story

Our relationship evolved out of a long-standing friendship which started in middle school. 

We‘ve been together for 10 years. We started dating after graduating high school and were together for almost 8 years before getting married in 2017. 

We work in public health (Alice) and finance (Ryan) and are both passionate about what we do. We love going for walks, traveling, watching movies, and the occasional game of chess. Regardless of what we’re doing, we always spend a lot of time laughing when we’re together. 

Our experiences with pregnancy loss and infertility, while devastating, brought us closer together.

Our daughter, Audrey, joined our family through adoption when she was born in 2020.  She is the perfect combination of sassy and sweet and loves dancing, reading, going for walks, and swimming. We are engaged in an open adoption with Audrey's birth parents and would love to do the same with our next child. 

Our Home and Family

We’ve lived in our house in Michigan for six years and love both it and our neighborhood.

We are surrounded by welcoming and friendly neighbors, many of whom have young children. Our three-bedroom house is full of books, comfy furniture, and happy memories. We have a large fenced-in backyard, with plenty of space for kiddos to play and explore. We spend a lot of time on our back deck, grilling and listening to music.  

We have a beautiful trail system nearby, where we like to go and walk. There are also several playgrounds within walking distance that we enjoy taking our daughter to.

Fun Facts:

• Alice reads more than 100 books a year

• Alice sells homemade woven baskets and crocheted goods

• She can't live without books or coffee (often together, first thing in the morning)

Meet Ryan

Fun Facts:

• Ryan really enjoys mowing the lawn!

• He can't live without baseball and pizza (often together, at the ball park)

• Ryan has a huge extended family – more than 30 first and second cousins

Our Final Thoughts

We are open to ongoing communication and visits throughout your child’s life, if that’s your choice. We will be open with your child about their adoption – it’s a part of their story and we will always honor that. They will always be safe, cared for, and cherished. We have so much love to give a child.
