Hello! We are Austin and Jennifer

Thank you for taking the time to “meet” us!

We are so excited to share a little bit of our lives with you. We hope that by looking through our pictures and reading about our lives you can clearly envision who we are, our love for each other, the parents we aspire to be and our wonderful family who are as excited as we are to welcome a child into our family. We can’t begin to imagine how difficult your decision to find a home for your baby must be and we are truly honored to be considered as parents to your baby.

We are so excited to start our family through adoption. It has always been our dream to expand our family. We appreciate that you are taking the time to get to know us and consider us as you make such an important decision. We commend you for your selflessness and courage as you make this decision. We look forward to having the opportunity to provide your child with a life full of love, support and guidance. We pray that God will guide you in choosing the perfect family.

Our Story

We met at, of all places, a NASCAR race. It took 10 years of running into each other at the racetrack, before we started dating. Austin worked on the NASCAR circuit, so our dating consisted of a lot of traveling to racetracks, a lot of watching races and a lot of Face-times, phone calls and text messages in between. Because of his job, we were able to travel to so many different places we wouldn’t normally have chosen to travel to. We explored the country together as we got to know each other, laughed a lot and fell in love.  We dated, long distance, for about 2 years before we got married. With the help of some of the kiddos that Jenny loved the most, her students, Austin proposed to her in her Kindergarten classroom. A little less than a year later, with our closest family, friends and those same students by our side, we got married.  We have been married for 4 years now. Our marriage brought us to a new city, which we have loved making our home! Austin works for a sports marketing company and Jenny is a teacher. We love spending time exploring our city, attending sporting events and traveling as much as possible.

Our dream has always been to become parents and we are so excited to expand our family through adoption. 

Home sweet home!

Our home is where we love to start each day and end each night.

Our favorite part of the home is the front porch. We love to sit outside with our dog, Nellie, and chat with neighbors or drink our morning coffee. It is our safe space and our comfort. Our house is a work in progress, but it is where we knew we would raise our family. Our home is quietly nestled in the back of a busy neighborhood. We have the absolute best neighbors. We walk our dogs together, we have s’mores nights at our fire pit, and I know it will be a place our children will grow up together and play street hockey and kickball.  Our neighborhood is somewhere we can walk Nellie and chat with neighbors along the way. Everyone knows Nellie and she loves to stop and say hi to everyone along the way. It has a pool that we love to visit and relax. It is a neighborhood full of diversity, full of children playing outside and full of community events. 

We are also lucky enough to have so many wonderful restaurants, museums, trails, nature preserves (our dogs favorite) and parks nearby. We are literally 20 minutes from everything, as we like to tell our friends.  We have been in this area now for 4 years and there are still so many places and restaurants we haven’t made it to yet but will continue to explore!  We are also in the middle of the UNC/Duke/NC State rivalry, so there are always games to go to or events to attend.

Fun facts about us:

• We were both college athletes. Austin played hockey and Jenny played soccer. 

• We have driven cross country in an RV and loved every second of it. 

• Our family is spread out all along the east coast. We love to visit family often. 

• Austin has completed a half Iron Man!

• Jenny has completed a half marathon!

• We love to attend hockey games! Go Canes!

• We have the most adorable 4 year old beagle named Nellie.
